Underoath in June |
Co-produced by Matt Goldman (Copeland, Cartel) and Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, the Florida-based sextet are in Los Angeles mixing the as-yet-untitled album with Chris Lord Alge (Green Day, Rob Zombie). "This is the record we've been striving to write for the past five years, and I never thought I'd see the day when it actually happened," explains MCTAGUE. "I can't wait for everyone to hear what we've been creating for the past few months, but in the end, if everyone hated it, we'd still think it's probably the best record we may ever be a part of."[see full story for more including tour news and dates]- Click Here for the Full Story

Dresden Dolls Return |
The album, produced by Sean Slade and Paul Q. Kolderie (Radiohead, The Pixies, Hole, etc.) satisfies all the tall promises the critics have hurled at this band since they first started writing about them in 2002. "Provocative would be an understatement, carnal is more like it" said the Boston Globe, while The New York Times wrote: "Sometimes brutal, sometimes comic, always riveting."[see full story for more - trivia of the day, do you know where that album title came from?]- Click Here for the Full Story

2 Sides of Ben Harper |
This master stylist has taken sole production credit although in normal Ben Harper style, he bounced between recording on his own, with other musicians, and with his long-time partners, the Innocent Criminals. The album raises the bar to new heights for Ben Harper with his newfound sense of "absolute fearlessness- just diving into a song and ripping it wide open, with a lot of one-take vocals and guitar solos that are nasty, loose, raw, immediate." Jacko Recorders Guilty |
Jackson, who flew on a Gulfstream jet with his attorney, Mark Geragos, was arrested when he landed in Santa Barbara and taken to the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department where he was booked on charges of child molestation. Jackson was acquitted of those charges last year.
Borer was the owner of XtraJet, a charter jet company that operated the Gulfstream and Reeves owned the company that serviced the XtraJet fleet. The pair installed a videotape (with audio) and intercepted private conversations between Garagos and Jackson.- Click Here for the Full Story

Rocco DeLuca and The Burden |
In 2004, Sutherland and Cole were introduced
to Rocco DeLuca by a friend who saw him perform at The Gypsy Lounge in
Orange County where he held a two-year residency. The bar was known more
for its local biker crowd than a breeding ground for talented musicians.
[Actually the Gypsy is THE place to hear the best up and coming OC and
LBC musicians perform -ed]Yet Rocco used the nonchalant stage as a writing
and rehearsal space to continue honing his unique craft on the DOBRO®
steel guitar and to experiment with his impressively wide vocal range.
DeLuca had grown up surrounded by music; first with his father being the
touring guitarist for Bo Diddley and then with his friends immersed in
the punk scene. As a result, Rocco's sound naturally emerged as a soulful
combination of blues and rock with honest, vulnerable lyrics backed with
an unsurpassed inner strength. [read more at the full story link including
