and qualified pilot BRUCE DICKINSON airlifted 200 British citizens who
had fled war torn Beirut, Lebanon back to the UK yesterday (20JUL06). The
47-year-old flew a Boeing 757 to Cyprus where he picked up the evacuees

Gigwise reports: U2 are ready to release a
DVD version of the celebrated 'Zoo TV Live In Sydney.' The show was filmed
in the Australian city in 1993 and was previously released through video
format only.
As well as the entire show filmed by David
Mallet, the DVD will also come backed with all the obligatory extras. Amongst
the additions to the package are documentaries, unseen live extras and
'Video Confessional' where fans unveiled secrets to the concert audience.[see

new album 'Modern Times' have accidentally been leaked by his label.
Thirty seconds clips of several songs were
put on Sony's music store by someone who has no doubt since been fired.
The tracks have since been removed but news of the leaks spread so fast

CMJ reports: For Hot Hot Heat, there's no
better time than the steamy summer to turn the temperatue up in the studio.
Now in the hands of Rich Costey (Muse, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand) for
the final stages of mixing and fine-tuning, their latest full-length is
scheduled to be released in September on Sire. According to frontman Steve
Bays, the British Columbians have tweaked their sound for their new release.
This time, listeners can look forward to a grittier and more aggressive
sound than the light-hearted and poppy hooks found on Elevator or Make

Contact Music reports: R+B star R KELLY's
trial on child pornography charges has been delayed after the presiding
judge was hospitalised in Chicago, Illinois, after falling from a ladder.
Judge VINCENT GAUGHAN is in the intensive care unit at a Chicago hospital
after falling while trying to fix a skylight at his home on Saturday (15JUL06)
evening. Pretrial hearings in the case were scheduled to begin on Tuesday
(25JUL06), but this date may have to be rearranged following Judge Gaughan's

Day in Rock reports: He Is Legend have decided
to pull the plug on their Warped Tour plans. Here is a statement posted
on their MySpace: We are sorry to inform you that we have cancelled our
Warped Tour dates. To be completely honest there are many reasons why this
came about. Our bus situation fell through and our van and trailer could
not be fixed in time to do the tour. Also, our brains fell through and
we feel like they can't be fixed on Warped Tour. It wasnt wise financially
for us to go in a bus by our lonesome and not physically or mentally safe
to go in our van at this point in time. Over the last year we have put
ourselves in a lot of trying and stressful situations. In our personal
and professional opinions we feel as though, for the good of the band,
it would be in our best interest to stay off of the road for a little while
longer. We know this is last minute and upsetting to all of our supporters,
but we feel that with the upcoming tours and our new record coming out
in the fall, that this is the best way for us to continue to be the best
band ever & to continue to be that throughout the years to come. We
would like to apologize to the fans looking forward to seeing our show
and we promise that we will make it up to you in the near future.-

released on August 22nd individually and as a CD and DVD deluxe edition,
which will include over 90 minutes of special behind the scenes footage
of the making of Sacrament.
This special deluxe edition of Sacrament
chronicles the making of the album from the early stages of writing and
rehearsing to the actual studio recording. Filmed during the spring of
2006, the footage captures the intensely personal aspects of the album
making process as well as taking a sneak peek inside the band's private
lives. With interviews from each band member as well as director's cut
versions of two videos from the upcoming release, including the first single
"Redneck," this special edition look at one of today's hardest rocking

the Billboard Top 200 charts. The success of the 'The Fall of Ideals' marks
