Tierra
Santa DVD |
Kayos reports: On January 31, 2006, Germany's
Locomotive Records will release the debut DVD from Spain's leading Heavy
Metal band, Tierra Santa. Rumbo A Las Estrellas features six songs from
the 2004 Lorca Rock Festival, where they shared the stage with Germany's
Scorpions to perform "Hamlet," "Indomable," "Juana De Arco," "Las Walkirias,"
"La Sombra De La Bestia" and "Tierra Santa." The music is pure metal dynamite
of only the most progressive, melodic, heavy and fiery textures.
The DVD also comes complete with two videos
for the songs "Rumbo A Las Estrellas" and "El Canto De Las Sirenas." Added
features include interviews with the band members, and studio stills from
the recording of Apocalypse.- Click

Nebula
Release |
Black and White PR reports: Two and a half
years after Liquor and Poker Music launched with Atomic Ritual, the acclaimed
third release from L.A. power trio Nebula, the upstart rock indie comes
full circle with the group's new album Apollo. Due Feb. 21, the record
is a cosmic cocktail of heavy riffs, electric blues and psychedelic space
rock that demonstrates why the band has earned international (and, dare
we say, universal) acclaim.
Produced by Daniel Rey (Ramones, Misfits,
L7) and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Mars Volta, Sonic Youth, Franz Ferdinand),
and recorded mostly at Hollywood Sound Recorders (Danzig, System of a Down,
Red Hot Chili Peppers), the 14-track album sees the addition of new bassist
Tom Davies. It also features a bonus live video of new song "Future Days"
recorded during Nebula's Japanese tour last spring. A demo of another new
track, "Lightbringer," is currently available on the new Century Family/Hot
Topic compilation Metal For The Masses Volume Four, as well as Liquor and
Poker Music samplers included with the new releases by labelmates The Thieves
and Fireball Ministry.[see full story for more]- Click

Practise |
Press Release reports: Sharp Practise, a classic
rock band from the United Kingdom, has released their brand new album "Radiocity".
Described as a cross between the Counting Crows and the Red Hot Chili Peppers,
Sharp Practise are a classic rock band but not an over the top screaming
yelling rock n' roll monster, this is the sound of a band who like to keep
things quiet and wouldn't say no to an acoustic set, but not tonight: tonight
they wanna rock. And rock they do,' as the Dukester Magazine writes.[see
