(Contact Music) The promoters of a cancelled New Year's Eve (31DEC05) street party in Los Angeles are being sued by disgruntled BLACK EYED PEAS fans who feel the show should have gone on.

Organisers of the Giant Village event were forced to scrap the multi-stage show due to torrential rain.

A group of music fans who were left with no party to go to on New Year's Eve are planning to file a class action lawsuit, claiming promoters promised them the show would go on "come rain or shine."
