SMN reports: HATESPHERE have posted the following
update: "We are very sorry to inform, that we have pulled out of the US
tour with UNLEASHED, KRISIUN and BELPHEGOR that was taking place in February
2007. It was a very hard decision for us to make, and we apologize to everybody
who worked their asses off to get this up and running, but unforeseen stuff

DiR reports: Francis Mark of From Autumn To
Ashes has announced that he has replaced Ben Perri as the frontman for
the band. Francis offered up a long explanation as to why Ben's out of
the group that boiled down to Perri not pulling his weight in the band
and then leaving them hanging high and dry when they needed him most. Not

TMZ reports: In one of the the most ridiculous
displays of shameless self-promotion ever, a spokesman for a lawyer repesenting
Kevin Federline issued a press release yesterday to promote a dinner "event"
featuring Federleezy stuffing his face. Wait -- K-Fed's lawyer has a publicist?!
Several media outlets were invited to cover
the "event," to ask Federleezy hard-hitting questions like, "Where do you
see yourself in a year?" Kevin smiled and responded, "Making movies!" This
is one case where we actually encourage K-Fed to follow his rap dreams
instead.
The power-packed press release also said
that Federline has forgone his "signature gold chains that he wore around
his neck" in place of "a fabulous well-stated sport jacket with open collar

conqueroo reports: From his days as an insider
on the Greenwich Village folk scene to his role as leader of the Lovin'
Spoonful and through his subsequent solo work, John Sebastian has been
a central figure in American pop music. And now, Collectors' Choice Music
will "welcome back" Sebastian's Reprise solo albums from the 1970s with
five CDs shipping to stores on February 20, 2007. The reissues feature
liner notes by Richie Unterberger containing quotes from Sebastian himself.

Submitted News reports: A brand new start
up company "Sico Productions" will debut it's first DVD release, BEFORE
KISS. Bands have fan clubs but KISS has a loyal army of fans. This DVD
shows the dedication of 3 such fans. Originally filmed back in 1999, 3
die-hard KISS fans set themselves on a 6 month Pre-"KISS"toric journey
to visit as many places as possible in New York City that had to do with
the band's old stomping grounds, includes interviews and more.
They travel through New York City visiting
such locations as Paul Stanley's childhood home, the loft on 23rd street
and Electric Lady studios. Over 15 locations are on the dvd. They were
also able to get inside some places, one of which "The Daisy" (considered
one of the key starting places for KISS in the early 70's)was burned down
approximately 2 months after the filming back in 1999. To our knowledge
nobody else has footage of the legendary location. The dvd contains interviews
with fans that saw KISS back in the early 70's, along with collections
of original KISS merchandise. There's even an interview with a lady that
knew Paul before they made it big.[see full story for more]-

PR reports: Recording artist, Sevendust, and
their wholly owned record label, 7Bros. Records, today announced a partnership
with Asylum Records, part of Warner Music Group's (WMG) Independent Label
Group. Asylum Records is distributed by WEA Corp., WMG's U.S. sales and
marketing company.
The first project together will be Sevendust's
sixth full-length album, Alpha, due in stores, March 6, 2007. To coincide
with the release the lead track "Deathstar," has been made available via
stream at www.sevendust.info.
Sevendust will also embark on a 57-date
headline run beginning February 8, 2007 though April 28, 2007. Holiday
