Lost Doors Track

blabbermouth.net reports: AOL Music has confirmed that former JANE'S ADDICTION frontman Perry Farrell has unearthed a lost track featuring the vocals of THE DOORS' Jim Morrison and will be releasing the song, "Woman in the Window", on his SATELLITE PARTY project, due early next year.

According to AOL Music, Farrell composed the music to complement a tape of Morrison reading one of his original poems. After a very brief musical intro, Morrison's vocals begin: "I am the woman in the window." The song is a potent reminder of how beautiful Morrison's voice could be as his sing-song vocals, reminiscent of "Love Street", are delivered against a musical backdrop Farrell describes as "a little down-tempo, a little chill." Eminem Vs Playmate

TMZ reports: Kendra Wilkinson, one of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends and one of the stars of the E! series "The Girls Next Door," found out firsthand just how mean Eminem can be. She also found out just how fast celebrity publicists can work when cleaning up one of their client's messes. This particular mess involves Slim Shady himself and his alleged poor conduct on a video shoot. According to Kendra, Em threw water on the Playmate's face for no apparent reason during a shoot for Eminem and Akon's new music video, "Smack that Ass." Afterwards, Kendra unleashed her fury over the situation with a scathing message on her MySpace page.

Teen Fan Stabbed

blabbermouth.net reports: Telegraph.co.uk reports that a British teenager who was stabbed in the eye during her school lunch break said a "gang mentality" singled out students for their music and fashion tastes.

The 15-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, narrowly escaped losing her sight in the attack last November. She had been the victim of a string of attacks, threats and had even received prank calls at home because she is what is known as "a metaler", Guildford Crown Court heard today.

"Somebody asked me on the first day what kind of music I listened to, so I said AC/DC." She said that, as a result of this, she was told she was a "metaler" and found herself being shunned by other classmates.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Korn Show Arrests

blabbermouth.net reports: Janesville, Wisconsin's The Janesville Gazette reports that the Walworth County Sheriff's Department patrol division and drug unit made a combined 14 criminal arrests at Saturday's (August 26) Family Values Tour concert at Alpine Valley Music Theater in East Troy, WI. 

Three were arrested for resisting arrest, and five for possession of marijuana and two for disorderly conduct. Other arrests included a probation violation, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cocaine and an outstanding warrant.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Gigwise reports: The New York Dolls have announced details of four UK and Ireland shows for this autumn.

DiR reports: Just prior to starting a North American tour with DragonForce, Massachusetts-based metal act ALL THAT REMAINS has just been confirmed as main support for the British power metallers on their UK tour in November and December. * In December Universal Music plans to launch SpiralFrog, a fully ad supported download service. Stoned Supergroup

Gigwise reports: Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson believes that rehab rockers Pete Doherty, Justin Hawkins and Tom Chaplin should form a supergroup. All three have been confined to The Priory in recent weeks as they battle drug and alcohol addiction. 

Speaking backstage at the Reading Festival, Wilson was shocked to hear that Chaplin had gone the way of Doherty and Hawkins, but quickly made light of the situation. "There's talk of them forming a band? Excellent. They should be called Get Well Now. That's a great name for a group. Get Well Now with Justin, Pete and Tom. What a line up! AP reports: An appearance by Corey Miller at a Hurricane Katrina documentary premiere in New Orleans has led a judge to put the rapper on full home confinement until his second trial on a second-degree murder charge.

Miller, 35, is awaiting a retrial in the 2002 shooting of a 16-year-old boy outside a nightclub in Harvey.
