Linkin Park 07
Reuters reports: Linkin Park, one of the few major acts that had yet to make its music available via Apple's iTunes Music Store, has changed course and pacted with the service. Three of the group's albums are available beginning Tuesday, each with two bonus tracks and a third iTunes exclusive cut.

Meanwhile, Linkin Park is still at work on the follow-up to 2003's "Meteora" with producer Rick Rubin. The as-yet-untitled new album was originally expected by the end of the year via Warner Bros., "but at this point we don't see that happening," Shinoda told fans last week during an online chat. "We're doing really well, but we just need a little more time."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Underoath Return to the Road
PR reports: When UNDEROATH--one of the biggest rock success stories of the year-- suddenly announced they were leaving the Vans Warped Tour two weeks before the trek's conclusion, the fate of the band looked uncertain and in fact bleak. Dramatic internal struggles were taking place while an Alternative Press magazine writer was on the road with the band, and it's documented in the current UNDEROATH cover story in the new October 2006 issue.

With this new energy, the band will return to the road in September for a Canadian headlining tour with Silverstein, Moneen and He Is Legend. Next, the group heads overseas for the Taste of Chaos international tour with Taking Back Sunday, Thursday and others.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Beyonce Animal Abuse?
TMZ reports: PETA is going after Beyonce Knowles -- again -- after the singer told Arena magazine about her peeps taping a baby alligator's mouth shut during a recent photo shoot. The shoot went down for Beyonce's upcoming album, "B'Day." She told the magazine, "There was a shot where I held an alligator. (It) had (it's) mouth taped -- that was my bright idea." Beyonce added, "He was really cute, but since his mouth was taped, he didn't have any way to defend himself. He was upset, so he peed on me. That was an experience."

PETA thinks it was a bad experience -- for the gator. The animal rights organization contacted one of the world's leading biologists, who wrote Knowles a letter saying, "As a specialist in reptile biology and welfare, I'm concerned about your posing with a terrified baby alligator for your new album cover." He added, "Humans and alligators are not natural bedfellows, and the two should not mix at events such as photo shoots. In my view, doing so is arguably abusive to an animal."
