. (CMJ) New-York-by-way-of-Texas singer/songwriter Richard Buckner has announced a September 12 release date for his eighth studio effort, Meadow(Merge). The raspy-throated folkster recorded much of the album in and around his Brooklyn apartment and assembled a rather prodigious assortment of musicians to back him up, including Doug Gillard and Kevin March of Guided By Voices and Steven Goulding of the Mekons.
