The American Idol runner-up has been sued by the author of an "unauthorized tribute" titled Out of the Blue--"Clay" It Forward, who accuses him of defaming her and conspiring to hurt her book sales.
According to her court documents, Jeannie Holleman was a neighbor and lifelong friend of the McGhee family--Raleigh, North Carolina, residents who took in Aiken and his mother, Faye Parker, after Parker left her abusive husband, bringing her young son with her.
