Mike Idiot, Son of an ---hole |
thegauntlet.com reports: Underoath released
a statement on Friday, July 28, stating they are dropping off the Vans
Warped Tour to save their friendship. The Gauntlet has learned from several
fans and people in the NoFX camp that prior to Underoath dropping off the
tour, NoFX frontman, Fat Mike, made several comments directed at Underoath
and the bands beliefs. Fat Mike was on stage and opened with "most bands
on the warped tour this year really aren't that good, like Underoath, not
that good. We don't care about our fans, we just want to offend as many
people as we can." He later stated "if you are Christian or believe in
God like Underoath, I would leave right now because I am trying to offend
as many Christians as I can." The song "Idiot, Son of an ---hole" was later
dedicated to God.[see full story for more]- Click

Motley Pilot |
TMZ reports: Tommy Lee must really hate traffic:
The pilot of a helicopter that Lee had ferry him from his Hollywood Hills
home to a concert in Irvine, Calif. was charged today by the Los Angeles
City Attorney with landing an aircraft on a public road, and two other
charges besides.
On July 7, the Air Support Division of
the Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of a helicopter
hovering above a residence in the Hollywood Hills. The officers tried to
contact the helicopter pilot, 49-year-old David Keith Martz, but the helicopter
landed on a public street and the pilot entered a residence. Tommy Lee
was seen coming out with two other passengers and the aircraft departed
to the southeast.
LA City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo charged
Martz with one count of reckless operation of an aircraft, one count of
landing an aircraft on a public road and one count of landing an aircraft
without a permit. Each charge carries a maximum penalty of six months in
jail and/or a $1000 fine.[see full story for more]- Click
