Earlier this week the new Coke ad featuring White's musical backdrop "The Right Thing To Do" was leaked onto YouTube. (Gee wonder who did that? Let's create a buzz and sell more Coke! ) Some were taken by the creativity and originality of the clip. Turns out it wasn't so original. The Tripwire being the fine folks that they are have uncovered what may have inspired the new Coke ad-- Japanese director Nagi Noda's music video for the song "Sentimental Journey". Was stealing the idea the "right thing to do?" Stay tuned for lawsuit news but until then if you want to contrast and compare, click over to The Tripwire and they will hook you up with links to both videos.
