Proof Fired First
E! reports: It appears the burden is on Proof. Authorities in Detroit confirmed today that the D12 rapper instigated a deadly nightclub shooting early Tuesday that left him dead and another man critically injured with a bullet wound to the head.

The incident occurred at club C.C.C. along Eight Mile--a road immortalized by Proof's longtime pal Eminem in his hit semi-autobiographical film--at approximately 4:30 a.m., after the bar remained open illegally past its regular business hours. GNR Reunion rumor
Metal Sludge reports: Our friends over at www.melodicrock.com are saying this: While Metal Sludge continue their crusade to get to the bottom of dealings within Velvet Revolver...a little extra info has come my way this week.

If you were to believe the rumor mill, plans for a Guns N Roses re-union have firmed, with the upcoming tour dates expected to feature the original line-up (with drummer Matt Sorum from the Use Your Illusion line-up). Apparently the guys have already started rehearsals and plans for extending the current tour dates are being examined.

Also coming to light this week - The Cult are apparently being looked at as a possible support band for the Guns N Roses tour. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Bad Charlotte
punkbands reports: Punk rock legend Benji Madden of Good Charlotte took time out from defiling gf Hillary Duff Saturday night to throw with an obnoxious fan at nightclub Don Hill's in TriBeCa. Sources say the tussle started when the guy grabbed Maddens hat and started taunting him. Madden then: "wrestled him to the floor and started 'punching the [bleep] out of him,' our tipster says. After the clubgoer grabbed Madden's necklace, a security guard jumped in and put a choke hold on the instigator, who was ultimately kicked out."

Mental health experts agree that if you've ever gotten your ass kicked by Benji Madden, you should really go ahead and kill yourself.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Christian Vs Rap
Submitted reports: It is sad, but also ironic to say the least that a rapper whose lyrics boasted about shooting people indiscriminately had his fate sealed by those very actions. Perhaps it is time to stop and take a closer look at what the rap industry has become; a sick, satanic world of violence, hate, and misogyny.

"Eminem, the Lord is calling you loud and clear and I hope you have ears" insists John Conner, spokesperson for The Resistance, a Christian association dedicated to fighting Satanism. "I know what it's like to lose a great friend unexpectedly" explains Conner "and my heart goes out to the friends and families. I'm not saying Proof deserved this for rapping about murdering people, what I'm saying is the culture of hip hop and rap music glorifies such behavior in their music, but when it actually happens, that's when reality sets in, and the tears show, breaking down the facade of the macho indestructible images these artists portray."

I hope this serves as a wake up call to change the climate in the rap industry. Our country is being sold out by corrupt Illuminati politicians in Washington and there is so much good rap could do, but the industry as a whole has become nothing but satanic filth. What ever happened to Public Enemy and the likes of Chuck D?[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Stoned Weiland
Blabbermouth reports: The New York Post's "Page Six" column published the following item in its April 11, 2006 edition: "Scott Weiland 'stumbled' into the Key Club in Hollywood last week, according to a witness but a flack denies the claim. The supposedly sober VELVET REVOLVER frontman, who's been in and out of rehab for drugs and booze, later jumped onstage and belted out the GUNS N' ROSES classic, 'It's So Easy', backed by club house band, METAL SKOOL. Since Weiland has been having a vicious war of words with GN'R singer Axl Rose as of late, his selection only fueled rumors that he was under the influence. But a spokeswoman for Azoff Management, the powerhouse firm that handles VELVET REVOLVER, said our source must have been bleary-eyed. 'There is no truth to that whatsoever,' she said[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
