and "Hyperactive" blasts Kevin Federline for allegedly sampling his most

Punk
Terrorist |
punkbands reports: British anti-terrorism
detectives escorted a man from a plane after a taxi driver had earlier
become suspicious when he started singing along to a track by punk band
The Clash, police said on Wednesday.
Detectives halted the London-bound flight
at Durham Tees Valley Airport and Harraj Mann, 24, was taken off.
The taxi driver had become worried on the
way to the airport because Mann had been singing along to The Clash's 1979
anthem "London Calling," which features the lyrics "Now war is declared
-- and battle come down" while other lines warn of a "meltdown expected".[see

despite not being conventionally talented. When Jessica Simpson sings,
birds fall from the trees dead; and when Jessica Simpson acts, the trees
uproot themselves and run away.
But there is one role that Jessica Simpson
was born to play, and it looks like she'll be getting the chance to do
just that very soon. You guessed it - it's been reported that Jessica Simpson

CMJ reports: The Rapture, 2003's band-of-the-moment,
are teaming up with hip-hop producer-of-the-moment Danger Mouse for their
lusted-after follow-up to Echoes, which will technically be their third
full-length. Those wondering exactly how a collaboration between a hipster
buzz band and a hip-hop wunderkind will manifest, vocalist Luke Jenners
told Rolling Stone, "[Danger Mouse] just treats us like samples. Instead
of me going in and playing a guitar part, he'll take a little loop of it
and use it to sound like something's exploding. [see full story for more]-

on Crock Hall |
Blabbermouth reports: Legendary heavy metal
vocalist Ronnie James Dio "wasn't invited" to BLACK SABBATH's Rock and
Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony and "wasn't bothered" by the fact

who answered the phone, said, "Ronnie was not invited, but he's not bothered
by it, because he is busy working on his own projects. He wishes them the
