Gigwise reports: The recently shot head of
Death Row Records, Suge Knight has announced that he wants to talk with
Eminem about THAT racist mix tape of his.
The forgotten mix tape which was uncovered
by the �Source' magazine has been the cause of a lot of grief for Eminem,
on it he calls black women �bitches' and �Gold diggers', comments that
have obviously got Suge's goat.
Knight wants to have it out with the white
rapper and is giving him the chance to attend a meeting with him.[see full

reports: Is an all-new KISS on the horizon, one that doesn't have any original
members? It's possible, according to the band's manager. According to the
New York Times, KISS manager Doc McGhee "has been toying with the idea
of recruiting an entire band to...don the band's famous makeup." McGhee
said, "KISS is more like Doritos or Pepsi, as far as a brand name is concerned.
They're more characters than the individual person. I think (new members)

Gigwise reports: Franz Ferdinand are set to
release a double disc DVD on November 14 featuring live performances and
loads of extras.
The DVDs will include the bands complete
sets from London and San Francisco as well as snippets from their performances
at last year's T in the Park, Glasgow Barrowlands, The Avalon in Los Angeles

Aversion reports: Bob Marley fans are in for
a treat this winter, as a previously unknown Marley song is making it onto
a compilation.
Marley's son, Ziggy Marley, unearthed an
acoustic demo of "Slogans" on an overlooked cassette tape. The song is

Blabbermouth reports: South African hard rockers
SEETHER reportedly performed a cover of PANTERA's "Walk" during their concert
at San Francisco's Civic Auditorium Sunday night (Sept. 25) as a tribute
to fallen PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott. The San
Francisco show was the second night of SEETHER's North American tour as
the support act for AUDIOSLAVE. It is not presently clear if SEETHER's
cover of "Walk" will be performed at every stop on SEETHER's current tour.[see

Blabbermouth reports: [more on that show that
was posted about last week] Attention, old-school punk rock fans: SUICIDAL
TENDENCIES, THE GERMS, THE DEAD KENNEDYS, MARKY RAMONE and FLIPPER will
join forces at the legendary Grand Olympic Auditorium as the "Waking the
Dead" show on Saturday, October 29. Doors are at 5:30 p.m. The co-headlining
act, THE GERMS, broke up 25 years ago after the death of its singer, Darby
Crash. GERMS guitar player Pat Smear is also known for playing with NIRVANA
for their "unplugged" work, and later with the FOO FIGHTERS. Actor Shane
West ("E.R."), who is playing Darby Crash in the upcoming feature film
about THE GERMS, will sing with the original GERMS that night. West will
be living a dream come true. He has previously played in several punk rock
bands, and will now actually front the band he's idolized.[see full story

Reuters reports: Vocalist D'Angelo (real name:
Michael Archer) is in a Richmond, Va., hospital being treated for serious
injuries suffered during a September 19 car accident.
According to a statement from the Virginia
State Police, the SUV in which D'Angelo was traveling swerved off a road
