Blabbermouth reports: Jeff Kerby of KNAC.COM
recently conducted an exclusive interview with ALICE COOPER. A few excerpts
from the chat follow:
KNAC.COM: Aren't there a lot of people
out there though who have this insatiable need and desire to believe that
Alice is a living, breathing being out wreaking havoc twenty-four hours
a day?
Alice: "I've tried to believe it myself
even though I don't believe it about MARILYN MANSON. The guys in SLIPKNOT
look like they work at The Gap when they aren't in SLIPKNOT. I was more
stunned than anyone on that one. They all came and sat down after the show,
and they were all wearing these Gap shirts with little short haircuts.
It was like 'So the guys in SLIPKNOT are where? Where are the guys in
SLIPKNOT?' I was like, 'Really?' So that was funny to me, but I totally
get it. If I tried to be Alice Cooper all the time"[see full story for

Blabbermouth reports: U.K's Life Style Extra
is reporting that a rock fanatic who changed his name to Ozzy Osbourne
stabbed a friend to death inside his own apartment, a court heard on Thursday
(Sept. 22).
Gary Ozzy Osbourne, 42, was born Gary Bacon
but changed his name by deed poll to mirror that of the rock star, the
Old Bailey heard.
In January last year, he drove to the home
in Enfield, north London, of Gary Hunt a 33-year old small-time drug
dealer who Osbourne had been friends with for a number of years, the jury
was told.
Mr. Hunt, a keen DJ, was described by friends
as being "easy-going" and someone who "wouldn't do any harm or hurt anyone"
but he and Osbourne got into an argument, it was alleged.
Osbourne then stabbed him a number of times
and left him fatally injured, the court heard.[see full story for more]-

Blabbermouth reports: In a brand-new interview
with Revolver magazine his first since being "replaced" as the voice
of ANTHRAX by his predecessor, Joey Belladonna vocalist John Bush confirmed
that the original idea for the band's current reunion trek was to bring
both Belladonna and Bush on tour, as ANTHRAX had planned in 2000, but Bush
wasn't interested. "At one time, I had been willing to tour with Joey,
but now everything is different," Bush says. "It just wasn't in my heart.
I figured I had been in this band 12 and a half years, and we felt positive
about what we had done, and we all thought our last album, 'We've Come
for You All', was the best record we'd made together. So I just wanted
to move forward and do another album."[see full story for more]-

Day in Rock reports: A couple months back,
antiMusic contributor Kwazar was in Vegas on his Harley when he got hit
by a Cadillac and suffered some major injuries. Right now Kwazar is wheelchair
bound and awaiting some more surgeries so he can get hopefully back to
normal. Kwazar's day gig is a cinematographer and he's worked on shows
like Angel but he is best known in the Hollywood rock community for his
excellent concert footage. While he says he is just grateful to be alive
and is reluctant to take help from his friends, a couple of those friends
set up a benefit concert for him that will take place this Saturday (Oct
1st) at the Malibu Inn in Malibu.
On a personal note, I have to say that
in the "town where everything is fake," Kwazar really stands out as one
of the coolest and most genuine people I've met there. He's an old school
rocker that I'm proud to call a friend and I know a lot of people in Hollywood
feel the same. Some of those people will be performing at the benefit show
including Bang Tango and Little Caesar plus an all star jam (I have no
idea who is involved there but a lot of stars know and love Kwazar so who
knows?). If you're close to LA and can make it out on Saturday, please
do. The cover is only $15 and the proceeds will go to Kwazar.

Day in Rock reports: "You know they say'downloading
is killing cd sales' bulls***, bad music and homogenized entertainment
are killing cd sales, period," writes Bigelf frontman Damon Fox on the
band's website and to further make that point, "We are giving you our music
for free, simply because we can and no else will."
Right now the band is offering a free download
of "Hex" their 2003 album that hit the Top 10 in Sweden and also landed
on our Album of the Year chart. Because of the brain dead nature of American
A&R execs the album has been hard to get a hold of in the states but
no more, click the full story link to find out why they made a big impression
on several of antiMusic's writers with their Sabbath meets Pink Floyd sound!
The band is currently working on their
next album so you aren't likely to see any tour dates, but place this in
your subconscious, if you ever get the chance to see these guys live, you
best lie cheat or steal to do so, because they put on one of the best REAL
rock shows around. A great album is one thing but their live show will
blow your mind! - Now click the full story link to download the CD as an
early X-mas present from Bigelf!
