Prey is Born

. (Metal's Dark Side) PREY is born. July 2005 marked the formation of this new band of metal madmen. After leaving all of their former bands, Matt Wicklund (ex Himsa), Martin Powell (ex Cradle of Filth and My Dying Bride), and James McIlroy (ex Cradle of Filth) contacted eachother and found that they shared a common musical vision. (Matt, Martin and James had become friends after spending several weeks touring together on the MTV2 Headbanger's Ball Tour last winter.) This vision manifested itself early September in their London and Scheffield writing sessions. Several melodic, thrashy, groove driven, thick sounding pieces of pure metal have been written and everyone is ecstatic. The rest of the band line up will be announced in late December/early January!!
