Fall
Out Prozac |
punkbands reports: Here is the latest journal
update from Pete of Fall Out Boy: Citing 'irreconcilable differences with
myself'. Selling 50,000 records a week and i can't look in the mirror.
I am disappointed in myself. I am disappointed in this. And it should have
been kept safe. The reason we never told anyone is because we knew the
world would ruin it. and at the end of the day it did.
the whispers never stopped.
i lied. so you lied.
and it made you crazy. and i'm sorry.
people pulled us apart. lured us. and
you were my home.
it didn't matter what was said when our
heads were on the sides of the pillows.
last night i dreamt it turned out differently.

Rare
Clapton DVD |
Kayos reports: Eagle Rock Entertainment, the
leading independent source for high quality music audio/visual programming,
will release Legends Live at Montreux 1997, a live performance at Europe's
most prestigious music festival from a supergroup featuring superstar guitarist
Eric Clapton, saxophonist David Sanborn, bassist Marcus Miller, pianist-organist
Joe Sample and drummer Steve Gadd. The DVD hit the streets on September
6.
Legends Live at Montreux is a rare opportunity
to see one of the world's great guitarists freed from his responsibilities
as a frontman. Here, Clapton is just one of the guys-although "guys" in
this case happen to be the jazz/rock/blues elite. The combined résumé
of each of the other four would take up far too much space to list here
-- each has contributed to hundreds of landmark recordings. [see full story

I
Am The Avalanche |
Press Release reports: Straight outta Brooklyn,
I AM THE AVALANCHE will release their self-titled full-length debut on
September 27, 2005 on Drive-Thru Records.
Produced by Barrett Jones (Nirvana, Foo
Fighters, Melvins) the self-titled album resonates with Vinnie Caruana's
(former front-man of The Movielife) sometimes dark, but always clever lyrical
musings accompanied by heavy, intoxicating guitars and drums. It is energized,
melodic, turbulent, scathing and vulnerable, reflecting the frustration,
instability and hope of its creator and resonating with the twists and
turns of an artist coming to grips with the situations he has faced and
overcome. [see full story for more]- Click
