Pop Singer Missing
E! reports: Barry Cowsill has lost his way before. But now he's missing. 

A member of the 1960s family singing group, the Cowsills, Barry Cowsill had recently moved to New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina ripped through on Aug. 29. He left a message on his sister Susan's cell phone that was retrieved a few days later. He said he was holed up in his apartment. He said he'd seen looting. He asked for help. 

That was the last his siblings heard from Barry Cowsill.

RIAA Vs Students
FMQB reports: The (RIAA) has filed another round of "John Doe" lawsuits against 745 college students for illegally distributing copyrighted music on the Internet. The lawsuits include computer network users at 17 colleges, and the suits are part of the RIAA's ongoing fight to combat Internet piracy at Universities. liveDaily reports: DMX pleaded guilty Tuesday (10/25) to violating the conditions of his release, and faces 60 days in prison. 

The rapper pleaded guilty last year to reckless endangerment after smashing his SUV into a gate at New York's Kennedy Airport in 2004, and was sentenced to a conditional release stipulating that he could land in jail if he violated the law again within the next year.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Police Kill Rap Show
Gigwise reports: Kano's gig at the Scala in London on Thursday night has been cancelled after police voiced concerns over safety issues.

Iommi on Dio Collab
Tony Iommi reports: We'd like to thank Wendy Dio for talking sense about the rumours concerning Ronnie Dio and Black Sabbath. 

To reiterate, Warner Bros Records have been looking at putting out a Sabbath Box Set featuring Ronnie for some time and recently the search for previously unreleased material began.

Amongst this, there are unfinished demos but they may not be considered worthwhile, in which case the guys might write something new.

This is a long-term album project and no release date has been set.

AP reports: Janet Jackson says she is not a mother. In a terse statement released Wednesday, the 39-year-old singer denied a former brother-in-law's claim that she has a "secret" 18-year-old daughter.

No LCD for Voodoo 
Gigwise reports: LCD Soundsystem have pulled out of this weekends Voodoofest in New Orleans and Memphis.

They announced the news on their official website saying that they were now unable to fulfill the commitment. A statement reads: "LCD very much regrets not being able to perform at Voodoofest this coming weekend.
