. (Press Release) Heavy rock/metal label MeteorCity announces its next release, a split CD featuring the bands SPIRITU and VILLAGE OF DEAD ROADS. Entitled "Human Failures," the album recaptures the spirit of MeteorCity's early split releases from Nebula & Lowrider and Unida & Dozer, pairing four tracks each from roster stalwart Spiritu and new addition VoDR. "Human Failures" weaves energy, soul and aggression into a dynamic voyage that's atmospheric and rockin' at times, bleak and asphyxiating at others. This alternately uplifting and pummeling hour of artful heaviness is sure to appeal to fans of ISIS, Cavity, YOB, The Melvins and Clutch. This is also the first proper release from Spiritu since their 2002 debut, which Pit Magazine acclaimed as "crushing, fulminating and monolithic!", Kerrang! dubbed "skull-crushingly heavy and unique," and Metal Hammer called "hugely enjoyable." Spiritu / Village of Dead Roads "Human Failures" will be released to brick-and-mortar and digital retail in January 2006, with advance ordering possible by mid-December. - Click here for the Full Story
