Jews Vs Madonna
Gigwise reports: Madonna has been warned that she faces divine retribution after she is rumoured to have included a paean to a 16th century Jewish mystic on her next album.

Director of the seminary, Rabbi Rafael Cohen told Israeli newspaper Maariy: "There is a prohibition in Jewish law against using the holy name of our master, the Sage Isaac, for profit."

He added: "This is an inappropriate act, and one can feel only pity at the punishment that she (Madonna) will receive from Heaven. The Sage Isaac is holy and pure, and immodest people cannot sing about him."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Motley Vs J.Crew
Peta reports: "They should change the name to J.Cruel until they stop selling fur," says Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, who, wearing a body screen TV showing video footage of dog and cat fur production in China, will led a PETA protest on Sunday at a Las Vegas J.Crew store over the fashion retailer's selling of fur, despite repeated promises to PETA that it would not sell fur. Tommy will be joined by members of peta2's Street Team who will hold signs with images of cats and dogs from the investigation next to the tagline "J.Crew: Did Your Fur Have This Face?" All of J.Crew's fur is imported from China now the world's leading fur-exporting nation and where animals aren't protected by a single law which means that shopping there potentially supports the hideously cruel dog and cat fur industry:

PETA's investigation found that millions of dogs and cats in China are being bludgeoned, hanged, bled to death, and strangled with wire nooses for their fur. This fur is often deliberately mislabeled as fur from other species and is exported into the United States to be sold to unsuspecting customers in retail stores like J.Crew. Video from the China fur investigation can be found at the full story link - Click Here for the Full Story

Tsunami Bomb Split
Punk Music reports: From a blog on the Tsunami Bomb myspace site: www.myspace.com/tsunamibomb

Hi everyone. I'm sure you're all aware that there hasn't been any news in months, and unfortunately the only news I have to report is bad. Tsunami Bomb has broken up. Now, if you're a fan and friend of ours (who this letter is directed to anyway), your first thought is probably "NO!" and your second thought is "WHY?" Well, there are many factors that have come into this decision to break up. Fortunately, there is absolutely no drama going on between band members. We are all still friends and hang out, and the last 7 years (or 2 or 3, depending on member) have been some of the best of our lives. We got to tour the world and make lifelong friends on the way. We all still love music and love playing music. Sadly, the breakup is because of everything but the music. Over the years, while steadily growing more and more successful, we've also become more and more weighed down by the business end of the music industry. The side that you guys don't see as music listeners is immense. Managers, labels, sales numbers, sond scans, agents, producers, accountants, lawsuits, royalties, contracts... the list goes on and on.
