Ireland's very own Primordial is set to storm the US shores January 21st
2006 at the Heathen Crusade Metal Fest in Columbia Heights, MN. Primordial's
latest opus The Gathering Wilderness was recorded in October 2004 with
famed engineer Billy Anderson (Sleep, Neurosis, Melvins, Fantomas, Brutal
Truth etc.). Still dark as ever, still unique as ever, still Irish as ever,

on their first headline tour of the States in support of their new album

Total Assault reports: Mest have released
a new media player to coincide with the October 18th release of their record,
Photographs. Check it out at the full story link.
For fans in the Chicago area, Mest will
be doing a special performance on October 17th at the Vic Theatre. Aside
from watching the band perform, fans will be able to purchase the album
one day early and get it autographed. Tickets are $11 and are available
via Ticketmaster. Other week of release happenings- Mest will be doing
an in-store performance and signing at Looney Tunes on Long Island on Wednesday
October 19th at 7pm and another at Vintage Vinyl in New Jersey on Saturday,
October 22nd at 2pm. If that's not enough, Photographs will come packaged
with a 45 minute DVD featuring backstage footage and scenes from the tour

Big Fish Hospitalized |
Press Release reports: Reel Big Fish's Scott
Klopfenstein is currently in a New Zealand hospital undergoing tests for
a condition yet to be determined. Upon arrival from London, Scott experienced
abnormal fatigue and was rushed to the hospital where he remains under
close supervision. Reel Big Fish will continue their current Australian
tour with Goldfinger while Scott is being cared for. Meanwhile, Scott is
in good spirits despite being so far away from home. Please keep him in
