Madonna
Riff Theft |
Gigwise reports: It seems the song Get Together'
from the album uses a riff by composer Dominic King, who borrowed the cut
with permission from Chaka Khan's song Fate'. The sample was then used
on Stardust's dance floor smash The Music Sounds Better With You'.
However, it turns out that Madonna never
asked to use the tune, King told the Sun: "Her song uses my riff. I'm surprised
myself and co-writer Frank Musker didn't get a call. It would have been
nice to have been asked."[see full story for more]- Click

Fiddy
Condoms |
Gigwise reports: 50 Cent not content with
going into computer games, films, fashion and also being a rapper sometimes
says he wants to enter the sex industry.
Fiddy hopes to bring out his own range
of condoms and wait for it a vibrator with a likeness for himself!
He told America's GQ: "I need to make a
50 Cent condom, and a motorised version of me. A motorised version of me
will definitely have to be waterproof, so you could utilise it in the tub.
A lot of them vibrators aren't waterproof." He's obviously had a lot of
experience! [Is Fiddy related to Gene Simmons? With all of those women
that Gene has been with over the years there is a chance isn't there? see

Macca
Vs China |
hecklerspray reports: Paul McCartney has decided
he's never going to play a concert in China. Yeah? We'll we're not going
to buy his rubbish new album, but we don't keep spouting off about it.
China got Paul McCartney's hackles up by
the way that it treats cats and dogs for fur. And not only is he never
going to go to China, he never wants you to go to China, either. Especially
for the Olympics. [see full story for more]- Click

Remembers Dime |
Blabbermouth reports: "I feel so goddamn bad
for Vince [Paul, PANTERA's drummer and Darrell's brother], because during
the writing of our last record, [his and Darrell's] mother passed away
I miss Vince. I miss his sense of humor. And Dime there was no more creative,
beautiful, perfect motherf***er ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever. He
could make something out of nothing if we were in Bumf***, Anywhere,
he could find some kind of something to do that would end up being fun,
you know? And not to mention his music, our music. Dimebag, Vinnie, Rex
they were the greatest, and still are the greatest, musicians I've ever
played with. I will always love everybody in that band, man. We had so
much chemistry together. I miss it so goddamn much. You know, it took me
quite awhile, but after about six months, I watched some old videos, I
listened to our records, and I was just stunned, amazed, gasping for air,
because I knew that I was part of something that changed heavy metal forever.
And it took all four of us.
"To lose someone like Dime, and to have
his brother in such pain, it kills me. I'd give one of my fingers to fix
everything somehow, go back in time, or to have been there. This is a harsh
thing to say, but if I saw some stupid son of a bitch coming at my guitar
player with a gun, I would have knocked his block off, you know? I would
have taken a bullet for that motherf***er."[see full story for A LOT more

Sum
41 DVD |
punkbands reports: Sum 41's well-documented
experiences in the Democratic Republic of Congo will be detailed in the
Rocked: Sum 41 In Congo DVD, which arrives in stores on November 29. The
band traveled to the eastern region of the DRC to film a documentary detailing
the devastating impact of the longstanding civil war on Congolese children.
During their 10-day trip, Sum 41 (along with War Child Canada founders
Dr. Samantha Nutt and Dr. Eric Hoskins) met with former child soldiers,
victims of sexual violence, United Nations and aid agency officials, and
many other Congolese victims of war.
A sudden and unexpected outbreak of violence
between government soldiers and troops loyal to a renegade commander forced
their much-publicized evacuation from the DRC, led by Canadian peacekeeper
Chuck Pelletier, the namesake of the grateful band's most recent release.[see
