AP reports: The new 50 Cent movie "Get Rich
or Die Tryin'" has been pulled from a theater where a man was fatally shot
even though officials said Thursday they do not know whether the film was
a factor in the slaying.
Loews Corp. decided to stop showing the
rapper's bullet-ridden bio while the investigation is going on, said John
McCauley, the company's vice president of marketing.[see full story for

Rose |
Blabbermouth reports: La Voz del Interior
On Line conducted an interview with former GUNS N' ROSES drummer Steven
Adler prior to Adler's appearance in Córdoba, Argentina last week.
Several excerpts from the chat follow (translated from Spanish by Xozy):
Q: Are you in contact with your ex-bandmates?
Adler: "Yes, with Slash. With Izzy too.
I don't see Axl though. I don't see '---hole'."
Q: And "Chinese Democracy", the album Axl
did with the new version of the band?
Adler: "Do you know anyone who has heard
it?"
Q: No.
Adler: "No one did. I know he recorded
a couple of songs [over a period of] several years, until someone from
the company came in and thought they sucked. I would say to '---hole',
'If we got together again, not only we'd have a great time but we'd also
make lots of money'. But the truth is that it's been fifteen years since
I last saw him."[see full story for more]- Click

Paris
Crash |
hecklerspray reports: Starved of the limelight,
Paris Hilton did the only she she could - she got her car all smashed up
in a needless road accident. We'd be impressed, if only Lindsay Lohan hadn't
done the exact same thing last month.
Paris was in the passenger seat of her
$162,000 Bentley, as her latest boyfriend Stavros Niarchos attempted to
drive the car out of an LA parking lot teaming with Paparazzi early on
Wednesday morning. With a jumper over his head. [see full story for more]-

Ozzy Bio |
Contact Music reports: BLACK SABBATH frontman
OZZY OSBOURNE will never write an autobiography about his crazed rock 'n'
roll career, because he can't remember any of if.
The PARANOID hitmaker, who notoriously
bit the head off a live bat onstage, is convinced his memoirs would make
a thrilling read, but admits his alcohol and drug-fuelled hey day has destroyed
almost all his memories.[Why not let Yoko... oops $haron write it? see

Deicide
Pulls a Stapp? |
The Gauntlet reports: On Friday, November
4 DEICIDE frontman Glen Benton put on an embarrassing peformance during
the first night of the Aalborg Metal Festival in Aalborg, Denmark.
PowerMetal.dk observed Benton's distasteful
act: "Next up is this evening's headliner, DEICIDE. As I write these lines,
I'm still shocked by the embarrassing performance of Glen Benton.
"Benton not only decides to begin the gig
before scheduled, he is also obviously hammered and/or stoned out of his
mind. This turns out to be if not the, then one of the most embarrassing
performances I've been witness to, as Benton babbles about him getting
rid of the two Nazis, the Hoffman brothers, about the pain he went through,
and in between these rants, he does his best to insult the crowd. [see

Used
Vs MCR |
punkbands reports: The Used's Bert McCracken
has officially crossed two names off his Christmas list: President George
W. Bush and My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way. It's really no surprise
that Bush won't be getting so much as a card from the Used lead singer,
thanks mostly to the ongoing war in Iraq ("It's f---ing bullsh--," McCracken
opined), but Way ... well, that's a bit of a shock. It wasn't that long
ago the two were exchanging verses on a charity version of the Queen/ David
Bowie classic "Under Pressure" (see "My Chemical Romance Cover 'Under Pressure,'
Plan 'Big Rock' LP"). But those days are ancient history now, according
to McCracken. Just don't expect him to explain the reason why.[see full
