Theft Outkast? |
Contact Music reports: A Florida woman has
filed charges against OUTKAST's ANDRE 3000 and BIG BOI, claiming she's
both the writer and subject of the group's monster 2000 hit MS JACKSON.
JACQUELINE JACKSON claims she wrote the
song after her daughter MONIQUE was impregnated by her teenage boyfriend,
but the song was "stolen" from her by former business associate ANTONIO
SEALS, who was also a high school friend of the Outkast duo.
Jackson has charged the trio with stealing
from her and has filed a complaint with the Atlanta, Georgia, police department.

Hot Brawl |
XFM reports: [An] alleged altercation took
place when [Red Hot Chili Peppers' Anthony] Kiedis attended the show of
designer Jenni Kayne, and decided that hed go backstage after the runway
show to congratulate Kayne (a friend no doubt introduced through his ex-girlfriend
supermodel Heidi Klum).
However, the singer was prevented from
entering the backstage area by bouncers who had been instructed to stop
anyone from entering until $10 million-worth of Martin Katz jewellery had
been collected from the models.
According to the New York Times, Kiedis
wasn't happy with this and tried to barge his way through, "He pushed a
very large security guard and ripped his pants," said a source. "It took

Who
Delay |
liveDaily reports: Fans of The Who will have
to wait a bit longer for the band's first album of new material since 1982's
"It's Hard."
In a diary entry on his official website,
guitarist Pete Townshend writes, "The release date I had hoped for in the
late spring or very early summer was whipped from under my nose after three
years of writing. Shows we hoped to do in the early summer seemed to fizzle,
and we lost our drummer [Zak Starkey] to Oasis until January 2006. All
alternatives proposed, and which I have desperately considered, do not
fit in with my current commitments."[see full story for more]-
