Wanna
Play Pop? |
Dave Thompson reports: International touring
and US based artist Leslie Carter (sister of Nick and Aaron Carter) requires
musicians to be apart of her band. At 13, Leslie was on the Shrek soundtrack
with her hit 'Like Wow" for Dreamworks, she is now 18 and her music is
a mixture of pop/rock attitude with a soft sensibility. Think Avril Lavigne,
Hillary Duff, Michelle Branch, Kelly Clarkson.
Leslie requires a second guitarist, bassist,
keyboards/piano, backing singer and drummer. Every musician besides drummer
and backing singer should play another instrument listed, as there will
be instrument changes for different songs. We are looking to build a wonderful
team of amazing musicians and people. Age range is 20-35 and originality
in look and attitude is welcome.
All interested musicians should contact
musical director Dave Thompson and include a photo, experience, age, location
and contact info. Auditions and rehearsals will be based in Toronto with
full production rehearsals in Orlando, Florida. This a great great opportunity
for Canadian musicans.
