God Vs 50 Cent |
Welch said he doesn't fear retribution from 50; rather, he feels protected by the fact that he's merely acting as an emissary between God and the former Curtis Jackson.
"It's not a mean song, but it is like a
loving father disciplining his son and telling him how it is kind of
like Tré's dad in the movie 'Boyz N the Hood,' " Welch continued.
"There is really no way he can come back at me through music because it's
not from me ... it's from the Big Guy. Even 50 respects the Big Guy." [see

Robbie Williams Queen? |
"I think America appealed to him and he... I think he was sort of quite keen on the idea at one point, and it did seem like a good idea, and then I think we all sort of drew back a little - thought about it a little harder, and then thought 'Maybe not', you know," Taylor told Capital Gold radio.
Guitarist Brian May said: "We got close with Robbie... yeah. Absolutely. Yeah, we talked to him, but not in an auditioning kinda way. We just thought 'Wouldn't it be fun if we did something'.

about it and came close but..." [see full story for more]-

Jackson Accuser Explains Denial |
During his testimony on Monday, the boy admitted that he had told the dean of his middle school twice that he had not been abused by Jackson. During redirect examination by District Attorney Thomas Sneddon this morning the boy explained why he denied the abuse when questioned by the school official.
The accuser testified on Tuesday that as a result of the documentary, "all of the kids would laugh at me, trying to push me around and stuff and say that's the kid who got raped by Michael Jackson."
He explained that when he met with Dean
Alpert, "I told him that it didn't happen because all of the kids were
already making fun of me in school and I didn't want anybody to think it
really happened." [see full story for more]- Click

Springsteen, whom the Irish rockers had inducted into the Hall in 1999.

Hades Reissues |
In total, the band released seven full-length
recordings. This reissue is of their first two: 1987's Resisting Success
and 1988's If At First You Don't Succeed, both originally available on
Torrid Records. Those two long out-of-print albums are being remastered
and reissued with bonus tracks via Rock Ridge Music. Resisting Success
now includes the song "Target Fixation," while If At First You Don't Succeed
features the song "ThinkTank." In a skillful blending of past and present,
"ThinkTank" is based on riffs the band created in 1988, plus other new
riffs, new melodies and lyrics to create the final product.[see full story
