Blige, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Janet Jackson, Madonna, LeAnn Rimes, Britney Spears and Barbra Streisand.

This big album debut is coupled with the success of her first book, a memoir, co-authored with Ann Powers, entitled Tori Amos: Piece by Piece. It landed at #14 on the New York Times Bestseller list and is trending upward. In the book, the usually private Tori gives a rare inside look into many intimacies of her life as both a private individual and a very public performing musician. He has made a living most of his life as a full-time musician, performing through out the United States in his Colorado based group, Leaving The Trees, as well as, other projects such as The Rat Race. Though many might consider leaving the music industry in a situation such as his, Lance has decided to press on and continue to pursue his dreams and talents as a musician. In order to help him do this, The Lance Lisenby Lend a Hand Fund was established. Hopefully, enough proceeds will be raised through this fund to enable Lance to purchase a special prosthetic arm which he can use to continue to play guitar, though he is having to re-learn the instrument as a left handed player.
