Rockdirt reports: News of the World reports
that the Sex Pistols will be reuniting to perform at Live 8 after Johnny
Rotten finally agreed to do the show his bandmates immediately agreed to.
"The others said 'Yes' straight away but Johnny took his time," a source
said. "He knew the rest of the band had given the reunion the green light

BW&BK reports: The promoter involved in
London's Live8 concert has a problem - too many groups want to be involved
in the humanitarian effort.
Harvey Goldsmith told the Mirror that he
has turned down 65 bands, including MOTLEY CRUE and MEATLOAF.
OZZY OSBOURNE, who played at the Live Aid
concert in 1985, and the SPICE GIRLS, turned down by promoter Bob Geldof,

himself in. The rapper, whose real name is Barry Reese, surrendered early
Friday afternoon (June 17) to Philadelphia police on charges of murder,

vandals.
The city quickly removed paint scrawled

Audio Aggression reports: Karl Mueller, bassist
and co-founder of Soul Asylum lost his battle with throat cancer this morning.
Mueller had been diagnosed with throat cancer in May 2004 and has spent
the past year in and out of the hospital. Soul Asylum rose to fame in the
early nineties with hits such as "Somebody to Shove", "Black Gold", and
"Runaway Train" from their album 'Grave Dancers Union' which went on to

that played a NOFX song has incurred the wrath of the Canuck government.
A listener of Winnipeg's Power 97 FM filed
an official complaint after the station broadcast the band's "Kill All
the White Man" on Nov. 19, claiming the song � a diatribe against capitalism
drenched in meathead metaphors � ran afoul of Canadian broadcast rules

& Bean morning show, the popular duo hosted a fundraiser for KROQ legend
Rodney Bingenheimer to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

Bingenheimer is world famous for debuting bands who have catapulted to
super-star status and whose music has influenced most of the Modern Rock
bands of today.
The $15,000 needed to apply for the the
