are getting ready to announces shows for later this year in New York City
and Los Angeles, with tickets likely to go on sale in July. They'll also

White Lose Suit |
Blabbermouth reports: On June 8, 2005, former
GREAT WHITE manager Charrie Foglio was cleared of defamation charges brought
by GREAT WHITE founder and vocalist Jack Russell. Russell, who sued for
10 million dollars plus punitive damages, claimed that Foglio, a co-manager
of the band from April to September of 2003 with Obi Steinman of STC Entertainment,
falsely told the press and others that Russell and Steinman "stole money"
from the charity. Judge Robert L. Hess of the Los Angeles Superior court
ruled that any comment made by Foglio regarding the charity and/or missing
money was one of public concern and that she was thus protected by the
First Amendment. The only way Russell and Steinman could have overturned
the courts order was to prove that Foglio made these comments with "clear
and convincing malice" and that they were in fact not true. Russell, Steinman
and their attorney Ed McPherson could prove neither.[see full story for

AP reports: Rapper 50 Cent is pulling out
of next month's Live 8 concert because of a scheduling conflict with his
new movie.
The shooting schedule for "Get Rich or
Die Tryin'" � a film based on the life of the artist formerly known as
Curtis Jackson � recently changed and will now conflict with the July 2
show on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, publicist Yvette Gail said.

It turns out there were several leftovers from the recording sessions for

Capitol Records reports: Coldplay's X&Y
has debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. X&Y sold 737,294 copies in
its first week of release in the U.S., making it 2005's highest selling
rock debut to date. In addition, Coldplay's two previous Grammy-winning
albums, A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002, triple-Platinum) and Parachutes
(2000, double Platinum), are #1 and #2 respectively on Billboard's Top
Pop Catalog Albums chart.
The album also saw the biggest first week
sales yet of any digital album, with digital album sales comprising more
than 8% of total U.S. sales, according to SoundScan. X&Y was the first
digital pre-order ever, available on the iTunes Music Store, and the album

press release reports: Music Choice, the pioneer
in music programming in 40 Million homes is the exclusive TV sponsor of
the Sounds Of The Underground Tour. To support this tour, they are currently
airing a "MC Exclusive" 30 minute Video On-Demand program to 7 million
Comcast Digital Cable and Comcast High-Speed Internet homes across the
country. The SOTU On-Demand special will be available from June 1st to
July 31st. Music Choice Metal will be airing a one-hour block of music
featuring music from all of the bands on the tour. The Sounds Of The Underground
Tour Block will be airing from June 14th to June 28th.
