(punkbands) Orange County, California-based Ignite has signed to Abacus. The long-running hardcore band is aiming for a early 2006 release of their first new studio full length since A Place Called Home was released in 2000. The band will enter the studio in September with engineer/producer Cameron Webb (who worked with Social Distortion on Sex, Love and Rock'n'Roll).

Prior to the recording, the band plans to "road-test" the the material with a European tour in August to play festivals in Sweden, Germany, Holland, Hungary and also a handful of club shows. [see full story for dates] - Click here for the Full Story
