Teen Sex Bust
antiMusic reports: Tod Salvador, better known as Tripp Eisen of Static-X, was charged on Friday with aggravated sexual assault, child endangerment and kidnapping. Salvador reportedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old New Jersey girl he met over the Internet.

Authorities have told the press that Salvador met the girl online and told her that he liked to impersonate Tripp Eisen of Static-X, the girl was reportedly a big fan of the band. They began exchanging emails last October. In January, Salvador reportedly went to New Jersey for a rendezvous with the girl. He allegedly drove the underage girl to a shopping center parking lot, parked the truck he was driving and had sex with her.

Salvador, a Burbank native, is facing similar troubles closer to home. He also was arrested on February 10th by the Orange County Sheriff Department after he was reportedly found sleeping in a parked car with underage girl. Sheriffs charged him with a felony count of committing a lewd act with a child and he was released on $100,000 bail. [more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Jacko Flu Kills
AP reports: Family members of a 74-year-old heart attack victim said Friday that a hospital's focus on accommodating a flu-stricken Michael Jackson contributed to their loved one's death.

The family of Manuela Gomez Ruiz, 74, told ABC's "Good Morning America" that she was relocated to a smaller hospital room so Jackson could have the larger room when he was admitted last week. Ruiz was being treated for a heart attack, the family said, and had two more heart attacks after being moved and died the same day.

Family members said they have hired an attorney and plan to sue the hospital and Jackson. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Al Basile Releases Blues Masterpiece
Press Release reports: Al Basile remembers Patti Page singing "Tennessee Waltz," Les Paul and Mary Ford's "Mockingbird Hill," and the first day he heard Elvis sing "Heartbreak Hotel." His world would never be the same. Melody and tone became an important facet of his listening experience early on. Basile is a multi-faceted talent. In addition to his musical talents writing jazz, blues and roots music, he is the author of poetry, plays, and fiction.

Basile takes a lifetime of the blues and musical experiences and puts it all into his latest release Blue Ink (released 2/24/05). He reaches back to those roots, his early years as a member of Duke Robillard's band Roomful of Blues, and his many years with Duke as a writer and player on Duke Robillard Band CDs, to record a modern day blues classic. Robillard and his band backup Basile in typically grand fashion on all 13 tracks. Duke's tasteful and potent guitar licks make each song weep the tears of the blues while Jerry Portnoy's harp (whose resume includes playing with Muddy Waters and Eric Clapton) answers the calling of the guitar parts in one synchronous beat of the heart.
