Fusing dissonant indie rock with pop smarts, The Valley Arena's exhilarating noise at once brings to mind the stark, angular stylings of bands such as Fugazi and early Q and Not Q and the smart, slightly off-kilter pop side of art-punks such as The Fall, Talking Heads and Wire.
The Valley Arena plan to tour throughout the remainder of the spring and summer. A special, free CD release party will take place May 7th at Cafe Bistro in Long Beach, CA. Watch for them on the Vans Warped Tour from June 30th-July 2nd. [see full story for more]
