Aussie Splendour
NME reports: Further additions to Australia's SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS festival have been announced. 

Ryan Adams, The Finn Brothers, Willy Mason, Mercury Rev and hotly-tipped Brisbane trio The Grates have all joined the bill. 

Splendour In The Grass takes place in Byron Bay's Belongil Fields on the north coast of New South Wales from July 23-24. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Early Strummer
Punkbands reports: Some more details have surfaced regarding the upcoming retrospective from Joe Strummer's pre-Clash band, the 101ers. The record, titled Elgin Avenue Breakdown Revisited will include all the band's recorded material, including the long out-of-print Elgin Avenue Breakdown since a limited run in 1981. The band, who only existed from 1974 to 1976 and took their name from "the squat at 101 Walterton Road where the band lived. 

Strummer had planned to reissue the CD, but passed away before the project was completed. The record is being produced with the help of Joe's widow Lucinda and former 101ers drummer Richard Norther. Jacko Prisoner?
AP reports: A former security guard at Michael Jackson's Neverland ranch testified at the pop star's child molestation trial Wednesday that a notice once was posted in a guard station saying Jackson's young accuser was not to be allowed to leave the estate. 

But the prosecution witness, Brian Barron, also said under defense questioning that it would have been appropriate to keep child guests on the estate if their parents weren't present and that guards probably would not let any children leave if they were unsupervised. Paria Road Plans
Metal Blade reports: Paria's next venture will be a short run with label mates and good friends From A Second Story Window from April 22-April 30. This tour has some big shows on it such as the Motorcity Music Conference sponsored by Jones Soda in Detroit, New England Metal Fest, as well as shows with such bands as Psyopus, Terror, Remembering Never, Animosity, The Acacia Strain, and The Warriors. After that Paria makes their way towards Minneapolis to play Nehemiah's CD release show and do two more dates with them in Peoria, IL and Milwaukee, WI. Symphorce Fall Release
Metal Blade reports: Symphorce are in the middle of the song writing process for their upcoming album "Godspeed". The album will be recorded in the House of Music studios together with producer Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69, Angra). The cover artwork will be done by Hjules (Annihilator, Grave Digger). There will be a limited first edition including a free bonus-DVD (full live recording, backstage material, etc�) with a running time of 50 minutes. Unearth Vid Shoot
Metal Blade reports: For all of you die hard Unearth fans, on Saturday April 23rd at the Showcase in Corona, CA, Unearth will be shooting a video for the track "Endless" from their 2004 release The Oncoming Storm. The video for Endless, to be shot and directed by Jerry Clubb (Six Feet Under, Into The Moat) of Mental Suplex Productions and co-directed by Jon Biddle, will be the fourth video from Unearth since the release of The Oncoming Storm.
