Britney Marries Again
antiMUSIC reports: [This news may disappoint
some that held crazy ideas that they could hook up with Britney, others
could care less but here it is as we reported on antiMUSIC yesterday] Yes,
she did it again! Pop singer Britney Spears got married again on Saturday.
Wire services report that Spears wed Kevin Federline during a private ceremony
at a Studio City home. Saturday's ceremony was reportedly attended by family
members of the couple as well as between 30 and 40 friends.
The nuptuls reportedly came as a surprise to those in attendance as they expected the event to be an "engagement party" not a wedding. A spokesperson for Britney's record label, Jive Records, confirmed that the pop star had tied the knot. "Yes, I can tell you the happy couple got married yesterday," David Frostman told Reuters.
Of course, Spears and Federline became engaged in June, so it wasn't as big of a surprise as Britney's first wedding to her childhood sweet heard Jason Alexander in an impulsive ceremony in Las Vegas this past January. That union lasted 55 hours. - Click Here for the Full Story

Manson Equates Columbine
& Iraq
Chart Attack reports: Manson equates Columbine
with the Iraq War in one simple observation:
"I've had my grasp on morals for some time since my dad's experience [in Vietnam], but also because I had to sit there and think 'Why is it OK that we're blowing the s*** out of some other country and two kids blow up a high school?'" he says. "What's the difference? Because somebody says? At the end of the day it's all killing. You can drive yourself crazy in circles going round about that but it's... it would take an hour at least just to go down that path. I think art is your escape. That's what keeps me going." Slipknot Death Hoax
Blabbermouth reports: Tim Higgins of Des
Moines Register is reporting that SLIPKNOT frontman Corey Taylor has rejected
Internet reports declaring his death.
A prank fueled by the Internet and radio led many to believe that Taylor, who also fronts STONE SOUR, had died this week. "First it was an overdose, than a fatal car crash," wife Scarlett Taylor said Friday night (Sept. 17).
She had already received dozens of calls from worried friends and fans, known as maggots.
The buzz began Tuesday (Sept. 14) when Chicago radio shock jock Mancow Muller started talking about the death, Taylor said. A prank web site declared Taylor's death Friday.
Even Taylor's own manager had called concerned, the family said as it took a break from pizza and chocolate cake at a party to celebrate Corey and Scarlett's son's second birthday.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Cave In & Converge Collab
The PRP reports: Cave In and Converge
have been collaborating a new project together as of late, here's what
Cave In had to say on the matter: "To cap off our summer, we've spent some
time out in Salem, MA at Kurt Ballou's God City studio working on a collaborative
recording project between us and the Converge fellows. It's been a much-talked
about thing between both camps, and with the exception of one jam session
a couple years ago, there hasn't been any action made until now. We don't
want to completely spoil the surprise, but we can tell you that so far
we have five tunes in the making and they all came together pretty quickly.
And they are "tunes" in their own right, as opposed to meandering jams
or total self-indulgent wanking. [see full story for more]-

Dan Rather AC/DC Single
ECC reports: Years ago, The Evolution
Control Committee put out a 7" single on the Eerie Materials label called
Rocked by Rape. The single's A-side blended together American newsreader
Dan Rather rapping violent rhetoric over a plodding beat of collaged AC/DC
riffs. The B-side starts with a cut-up of dialogue explaining how to make
cut-ups of dialogue, and then provides the entire collection of Dan Rather's
violent phrases as your source material.
After building momentum for a year, a review of the single in Spin Magazine tipped CBS off to its existence, and their lawyers delivered a cease & desist letter to the label before the issue even hit the stands. Saga Returns with Network
a reader reports: A reader sent in a bit
of info on Saga's new CD "Network" which hits stores on Tuesday. This reader
reports "I got my hands on a promo copy of "Network" and what can I say...
there is definately a new energy flowing within the band, whether it's
the addition of Christian Simpson on drums, the use of Moogs (which the
band hasn't used in a very long time!) or just a new approach, either way
it's working! I definately recommend this release, I'd say of the past
3 SAGA releases this one has got to be the strongest, reminds me of how
good 2001's 'House of Cards' is but yet... different." The band has samples
of all the songs on their website plus more info, click the full story
