Beck Delay
Aversion reports: He's a loser, baby,
at least when it comes to getting his albums on shelves on time.
Beck's next album, which was originally planned for an October release, has been pushed back to 2005 because Beck hadn't finished work on it. Because of his label, Interscope's, heavy fall release schedule -- which features releases by U2 and a Nirvana boxed set -- Beck fans must wait until a calmer quarter to hear from the singer. - Click Here for the Full Story

Montgomery has quit the band, branding the group's leader Casey Chaos "a
fraud."
In a statement posted at the Metal Hammer web site, Matt writes, "If I joined AMEN to be famous or be a 'rock star', I joined for the wrong reasons. I joined it purely for an intense love and passion for what Casey Chaos led me to believe he stood for.
"I had two AMEN tattoos before I joined, and moved myself to L.A. to join one of my favorite bands. Now after 2 long years I can say I've had enough and learned a hard lesson.
"I've made a lot of friends and had some great experiences which I'm grateful for. However, living on just under 2800 dollars (that is my full take-home pay) from over two years has put me in extreme debt, and caused so many problems for me.[see full story for the rest of his statement]- Click Here for the Full Story
Pearl Jam Fake Busted
Blabbermouth reports: TheDenverChannel.com

arrested in Denver Wednesday after a suspicious fan found a story about

Witnesses said the man then claimed the band was doing a benefit concert this weekend at Red Rocks and he was selling tickets worth $1,000 for only $20. A bank employee called her husband, who is a PEARL JAM fan, and the husband called a friend in Seattle, Wash.
The friend in Seattle mentioned that he remembered reading a story about a PEARL JAM ticket scam on the Internet and a Google news search pulled up the original story on TheDenverChannel.com. The husband then called his wife to give her the news and she called police.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Brazzaville
press release reports: Welcome to Brazzaville,
a compilation album of fifteen songs by Los Angeles band Brazzaville, will
be released Tuesday, November 2, 2004 on Mimicry Records. Upon discovering
Brazzaville's catalog of three independently-distributed albums, Mimicry
opted to re-release the select tracks on Welcome to introduce the band
to a wider audience. Welcome to Brazzaville spans the band's seven-year,
bi-continental career and culls fan favorites from the pretty multi-lingual
murmurings of 1998's deceptively titled Brazzaville 2002, the guitar-heavy
straight-ahead rock of 2000's Somnambulista and the smoky Brazilian-flavored
melodies of 2002's gorgeous Rouge on Pockmarked Cheeks. The album also
includes two previously unreleased tracks, "Love Sky" and "Christmas in
E.C.," which will not be available on any other records.[see full story
