In a heartfelt blog entry Monday (Feb 29) titled One Last Kiss, Rory, Joey's husband and singing companion, passed along a message from their hospice nurse explaining that Joey will "most-likely only be with us for a few more days at the most."
"Over the last number of weeks her pain had gotten worse and her health had continued to decline rapidly," explains Rory. "And not long after Indy's birthday my wife decided that 'enough is enough'. She was ready to stop fighting and she told me so. She said the flowers would soon be blooming back in Tennessee. It's time to go home."
"Joey gathered her family together around her and she said goodbye to each of them to her mother and father and her three sisters," explains Rory of the heart-wrenching moment. "There were lots of tears as she explained to each one how much she loved them and that she was going to be going home soon. That her time here was done and she was going to go to sleep soon. And then she asked me to bring our baby in. And so I set our little Indy on Joey's lap and we all cried with my wife as she told her how much her mama loved her and, "you be a big girl for your papa and that mama will be watching over you." And then she pulled Indiana up and she kissed her. One last kiss."
"A few more days In the 40 short years that Joey has lived, my bride has accomplished many great things she's lived a very full life," says Rory. "But even more than that, she has loved those around her greatly and been loved greatly in return. I can honestly say that Joey's isn't just a life well-lived, it's a life well-loved."
"God only gives each of us a certain amount of time to be on this earth and every day when we wake up, we get to decide how we are going to spend those precious minutes and hours," Rory professes. "There are no do-overs, no second-chances, no next-time-around's to get it right. Joey knew this and she has made each and every day count. One of the last things Joey said before she drifted into the deep sleep she's been in for a few days now is, "I have no regrets I can honestly say, that I have done everything I wanted to do and lived the life I always wanted to live." The US trademark application was received last August, but KDB, an Australian-based business representing Minogue, filed a notice of opposition to the application last week on February 22.
In the notice, KDB said Jenner is a "secondary reality television personality" who has received criticism from disability rights groups and African-American communities. They also said that there are existing trademark registrations for the term 'Kylie' that cover entertainment services and music recordings. She also owns the domain name, kylie.com. The 50-year-old was on hand to support the cause with the proceeds from the party benefiting the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Though he had been invited for years, it was his first time attending. "If I don't show up, then who the hell would?"
Sheen attended wearing a shirt with his face emblazoned on it along with the words, "Stay positively negative," a message urging people to avoid HIV. He admitted that he felt weird sporting a tee of himself. "The T-shirt is for sale on Represent.com, and a lot of the proceeds go to the pediatrics AIDS fund and Elton's foundation." He joked, "I'm contributing with T-shirts - it's come down to that."
In all seriousness, Sheen is humbled by all the good wishes he has received since going public with his diagnosis. "They talked about the Charlie Sheen effect; it felt heroic, it felt progressive, it felt like there's a real dialogue now."
He added, "It's nothing but love. It's all good." Watch video here.
In addition, singer-songwriter Andy Grammer and the professional dancers of "Dancing with the Stars" kicked off the show with a stellar opening number.

While the video focuses primarily on Foster and Levieva's story, Stapleton makes a brief appearance as the bartender who serves Foster shot after shot while he sits thinking back on his relationship.
Foster's memories start off on a positive note, including the time he and his wife purchased and renovated a home together, but eventually things take a dark turn when his wife's mental illness surfaces in greater ways. Read more here.

When Lorde took to the stage at this week's Brit Awards, all eyes were on the Bowie estate's toughest critic: Would he take aim, or would her more subdued tribute make the grade?
"Finally found the links to tonight's Brits. Just beautiful. Thank you," he tweeted shortly after the show. Lorde's version of "Life on Mars?" skipped theatrics in favor of an instrumental Bowie medley and montage, placing the late icon squarely at the heart of the proceedings. Read more here.
