"The Oklahoma Highway Patrol Marine Enforcement Division made recovery of the body of Craig M. Strickland this morning Jan. 4, 2016," a spokesperson confirms to People Magazine in a statement.
Before Strickland and his friend continued their quest, Morland posted a tweet, which became the last message from either of them. 'In case we don't come back," Morland tweeted, '@BackroadCRAIG and I are going right through Winter Storm Goliath to kill ducks in Oklahoma. #IntoTheStorm." Read more here.
"I'm going to be hella rich after all the lawsuits I file from these crazy individuals who keep lying on my name. Happy NEW YEAR! Time for some of us to grow the f up," the singer wrote in an Instagram post. TMZ reports that a defamation suit may be filed as early as today.
The charges pertain to an alleged incident that occurred on Saturday, December 2 at the Palms Casino Resort. Liziane Gutierrez claims that when she attempted to take photos with Brown, he punched her in the face and took her phone.
"Her claim that she had her phone in her possession inside the after party and was able to take a photo causing an altercation with Chris Brown is a complete fabrication," read a statement by Brown's team. "This seems like a clear case of retaliation for her bruised ego."

Rather than making a dramatic aerial ascent across the main stage, Spears had to climb down a set of stairs to join her dancers front and center. A helpful stage hand climbed to inform her that the harness moment was a no-go. Members of the audience seemed aware that something wasn't quite right.
Spears, ever the professional, quickstepped down the stairs to finish the number and give her fans what they paid top dollar to see in Sin City. Watch video of the incident here.
At a press conference, Bon Jovi said that This House Is Not For Sale will see a March release, although he didn't reveal the specific date (via Star 2). Unlike past albums, the band recorded this one together.
"We were recording at different times and different rooms in the studio," Bon Jovi explained about how the recording process used to work. "That's not happening anymore. We went back to the place where we cut Runaway in 1982where I used to sweep the floor and fetch coffee. And, we did This House Is Not For Sale." He joked that he still fetched coffee for his bandmates, keyboardist David Bryan and drummer Tico Torres. Read more here.
"I've written more than I've written in 15 years, for obvious reasons -- all the awful things that have happened in my personal life -- but the way the year ended is also the greatest of my life," Shelton tells Country Countdown USA. 'If I got hit by a truck, the label would have enough for a new album."
"Some has been bad, and some that's been pretty good," Shelton said. "I'm doing what I'm supposed to do, and that's put all I've gone through and put it into music, and I never felt more connected to a record before." Read more here.
Directed by Marcus Hainey, the video is a dreamscape of sorts that takes the band on a trip through California's Colorado Desert before they finally end at Salvation Mountain (vis CoS).
With a nostalgic lens shadowing the entire project, the video showcases blues, pinks and yellows for a colorful, almost ethereal visualization of "Birds." It's less narrative-driven, and more about evoking how the song feels. Watch the video here.
From footage that surfaced over the weekend, it looks as though his rival Drake may play a part in the album. At a New Year's Eve Listening Party Meek held in his Philly hometown, he rapped over Drake's "Back to Back," which actually happens to be a diss track about Meek (via Billboard). He also rapped over Drake and Future's collaboration "I'm the Plug."
Whether this means the beef between the two is finally quieting down, of Meek has something more nefarious in mind by using Drake's music to share his own message remains to be seen.
An audience member captured a few snippets of each freestyle, and shared it on Twitter. Check it out here.
The outspoken, perspicacious icon took to Twitter in kind: "Please stop debating about whether OR not I aged well," she tweeted. "Unfortunately it hurts all 3 of my feelings. My BODY hasn't aged as well as I have. Blow us."
She continued, "My body is my brain bag, it hauls me around to those places and in front of faces where there's something to say or see." Lovato joined the conversation with an endorsement of her own:
"For women of all ages everywhere. Thank you @carrieffisher.. You are #goals" followed by three emphatic clapping emojis. Read more here.

"His musicality is beyond this world. I had to celebrate his genius by paying homage to his legacy while he continues to kill the game and make great music," said Kid in a prepared statement. Swift grabbed 12 percent of the vote, besting runners-up Jennifer Lawrence (11 percent) and Amy Schumer (9 percent). Zillow reports Swift polled particularly well among Millennials, who gave her 17 percent of the vote.
'2015 was a landmark year for Taylor Swift, from her highly successful 1989 World Tour, to being named the youngest female ever on Forbes' 100 Most Powerful Women list, so it's no surprise America picked the down-to-earth singer-songwriter as 2016's most desirable neighbor," says Jeremy Wacksman, Zillow chief marketing officer.
