Thomas Rhett Falls Off Stage But Keeps Singing

(Radio.com) A slight mishap won't deter Thomas Rhett from giving his fans a deserving performance. During his tour stop in Charlottesville, Virginia, Rhett was slapping hands of fans in the crowd as he sang, when he lost his footing.

The singer-songwriter kept singing, though, as he rested with one leg on the stage and his body on what was either a fan or a barricade. He didn't stay in that position too long before a crew member came from stage and pulled him back up.

While Rhett stood up with a smile on his face, he did post on Instagram later that night that he had to seek some medical attention. "Thomas Rhett fell off the stage into us and I literally have never fan girled so hard https://t.co/2pKnEzUA5y- Jamie Migliaccio (@jamiemig) February 20, 2016" See the photo and video of the incident here.

Charli XCX Previews Songs From New Venture

(Radio.com) Charli XCX flexes her entrepreneurial muscle. The British pop singer has made an announcement about starting her own label, Vroom Vroom Recordings. On Friday, she will release a 4-track EP, Vroom Vroom, named after her label.

"Vroom Vroom Recordings is my new, experimental pop label and it will combine my love for bubblegum pop with mystery and darkness," said Charli in statement. RIVRS and CuckooLander are two artists who have so much intelligence, pop sensibility and potential - they know what they want and both have great vision.

"That inspires me and it's why I want to work with them. I've always been fascinated by shy and introvert people - it's something that I am mostly not - and I feel both acts are in ways. It captivates me and sucks me in, and I think their music will do the same for others."

The EP will include songs by Charli XCX and new signees, London-based duo RIVRS and U.K. singer Cuckoolander. Listen to 2-minute previews by each artist here.

Drake's Started From the Bottom Featured On 'The Simpsons'

(Radio.com) Drake's "Started From the Bottom" got a little cartoonish on Sunday evening (February 21) when The Simpsons used the song in a montage for Bart's new found wealth.

Bart takes in a homeless woman, who agrees to pay him $1 a day in rent. When she gives him one week in advance, he takes that money and goes on a shopping spree at the $.98 store, among other dollar-worthy extravagances like buying coleslaw during school lunch.

Who better to capture that kind of financial rags to riches story than Drake? Comedy Central's Broad City also used "Started From the Bottom" during an episode to showcase a character's similar financial rise. Check it out here.

Ariana Grande Goes From Moonlight To Dangerous Woman

(Radio.com) Ariana Grande is a Dangerous Woman and she wants the world to know it. Her forthcoming album, once titled Moonlight, will bear that femme fatale moniker that could complete the singer's transition from child star to full-fledged pop diva.

She announced the retitle on Snapchat, following weeks of speculation that Moonlight wouldn't come to pass. Grande's comments on the matter suggest that Dangerous Woman corresponds to a title track, which she found too irresistible to pass up as she finished recording.

"A really long time ago I was convinced that it was going to be called Moonlight because its one of my favorite songs that we did for the album," she told Billboard. Read more here.

Demi Lovato Releases 'Stone Cold' Video

(Radio.com) Demi Lovato has released the official music video for her soulful ballad "Stone Cold." The video clip takes its title literally, featuring some chilly exterior shots.

"I have songs that I have written specifically because there wasn't anything out there that I could relate to that on level," says Lovato of the track "I knew other people needed that song as well, it's gonna give them that voice that they need to hear in order to get past things and process how they feel."

"During the shooting I channeled my emotion into it and I just went there," recalls Lovato of the video shoot in the wilderness. "And, when he yelled 'Cut' I almost couldn't stop crying cause I really went to a place of like--just letting my self feel."

The 23 year-old pop star says the track is her "favorite song on the album and the most emotional video I've ever shot." A video featuring a "live in studio" version of the song was uploaded released back in October of 2015 in advance of the album's release, but today we have the official music video for the track. Unreleased Justin Bieber Track 'Oh Girl' Goes Online

(Radio.com) A new Justin Bieber track called "Oh Girl" has made its way online. Posted to the pop star's YouTube account, the audio-only video shows off a greater R&B influence to Bieber's pop sound than his album Purpose does. The free floating track doesn't appear on his newest album, though.

Where Purpose showed interesting musical growth, pushing Bieber into electronica and even dance hall directions, there's no trace of Skrillex on "Oh Girl. " Featuring a heavily (and from the sounds of it purposely) auto tuned Bieber, the song has a steamy bedroom feel reminiscent of late '90s R&B tracks.

Bieber sings on the chorus, "Oh girl, your body is so insane/ Making me call your name, girl/ Oh girl, yeah it's like a rush/ Every single time we touch, girl." Even if it didn't make the Purpose cut, "Oh Girl" seems like a sexy song to excite Bieber fans, and yet another taste of the singer's more adult direction. Check it out here.

Demi Lovato Says She Didn't 'Shade' Taylor Swift

(Radio.com) In the wee hours of Sunday morning (Feb. 21), Demi Lovato took to Twitter to discuss her dissatisfaction with how women in the music industry are treated. While she never mentions Kesha directly, the tweets seem to be prompted by situation the singer is going through after a court ordered that she will not be let out of her contract with Dr. Luke, despite allegations that he drugged and raped her.

The following day, Lovato followed up with a tweet saying, "Take something to Capitol Hill or actually speak out about something and then I'll be impressed."

Fans on social media, immediately began suggesting that Lovato was calling out Taylor Swift for donating $250,000 to Kesha. In a post that has now been marked as private, Us Weekly reports that Lovato responded to the Instagram account ProudofSwift, writing:

"How the f-k am I making this about myself? At least I'm talking about it. Not everyone has 250k to just give to people. Would love to but I didn't grow up with money and def haven't made as much as her. At least I speak up about s-t that's uncomfortable to talk about rather than trying to be politically correct 24/7."

"There's no 'rivalry'. I just give more f-s than other people and would rather start a dialogue ABOUT WOMEN COMING FORWARD ABOUT BEING RAPED than throw money at one person."

"Didn't shade Taylor," she concluded. "If you take it that way than fine. I'm just tired of seeing women use 'women empowerment' and 'feminism' to further brands without actually being the ones that have the uncomfortable conversations." Read the tweets here.

Eddie Vedder and Miguel Perform At Their Former Schools

(Radio.com) No matter how bright a celebrity's star shines, fans always hope they never forget where they came from. Over the weekend, two famous singers proved they are appreciative of the learning institutions they went to by coming back and performing. Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder took the stage at a benefit at his high school. While Miguel sang at his middle school's talent show.

Vedder attended the fundraiser at his former high school The San Dieguito Academy and rocked the stage with other alumni. However, he didn't perform any of Pearl Jam's material. He, with the help of a handful of old classmates and teachers, covered Joe Jackson's hit from 1979 "Got The Time." Later, he backed a band called The Amazons on the hand shakers.

The students at Dana Middle School went crazy when Miguel performed his Grammy-winning song "Adorn" during the talent show. Kids screamed as they recorded the performance on their smartphones. He attended the show to help give out awards to the participants of the show. It was a special moment for the R&B singer because he was handing out awards with the Boys & Girls Club of Los Angeles Harbor members. He was a member of that Boys & Girls Club as a child.

Take a look at Miguel's performance and you can see Eddie Vedder's in the two clips here.

Shot in black and white, the video shows all four rappers dressed in black to stand out against a clean white background.
