And once they hear it, I feel like they will understand me a little bit more, and they'll understand why I did what I did, and why I left the band, and why I had to write this sh*t down. Because for five--not even for five years, for ten years, this album has been in my brain, and it's just been there, sat with me, needing to be out." Read more here.
In a move that shocked fans, Hodgy Beats called Tyler a "fraud" while they both performed at Odd Future's Camp Flog Gnaw festival over the weekend. After the show, Hodgy posted a series of Tweets about his motives, in which he expressed his disappointment in Tyler's apparent sleight to their Odd Future crew.
The beef seems to have its beginnings with Tyler's comments earlier this year, in which he virtually announced the disbanding of Odd Future. "Although its no more, those 7 letters are forever," he tweeted. The cryptic message was taken as a reference to OFWGKTA, short for Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All. Check out the video here.

When asked about his hit record "Holla Holla," from his debut 1999 album Venni Vetti Vecci, he said, "It [the beat] had this funny sound to it. So I'm like, 'What could I do to this to bring out what the beat is?' I created the double-flow, which I called it at the time. 'Holler Holler, anybody that's ready to get dollar, dollar-dollar.' I said, You know what, I'm gonna do verses like that."
Ja went on to explain how Jay Z borrowed his style for the "Holla Holla" remix. "Jay heard it and he was like, 'dope.' We on the bus and Jay is like, 'I got my verse right.' I was like, 'Let me hear it.' This is how ill Jay is: He spit it and it was double-time like my verse. Then when he did it, he changed it. Only did the double for the first two'The verse was still dope."
Ja explained that the energy between he and his Def Jam counterpart, Jay-Z, was all love, despite the friendly competition. Read more here.

Chesney had the following to say about the new date, "You never want to just assume people are as into you are you are to them. The people of New England, and especially Boston, have been so good to us for so long - and after this year, I didn't want to assume we could do those kinds of numbers a second straight year. But once we went up on sale, we realized this year could be even bigger than last year which is crazy.
"Then again, we named the No Shoes Nation at Foxborough. We've sold out 13 shows over eight years, and the heart, strength and passion of the people of Boston is what inspired me to start the Spread the Love Fund after the Boston Marathon bombing. So, I don't know why I ever hesitated. Here's to two rocking nights with some of my dearest friends in one of my favorite places in the world."
The new show will mark Chesney's 15th performance at the home of the New England Patriots. He will be joined by Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and Old Dominion joining him for the weekend.
"Gillette Stadium holds so many special memories," Chesney says. "Last year when the Kraft family brought the Super Bowl trophies on stage with us It was crazy. Not to mention playing 'Happy on the Hey Now' with Gretchen Rhodes, one of the original island girls who were a bridge to this city. Places like that really stand out, really give a reason to keep going during the summer - because as good as it is, you know there is something even better ahead."

"'Love is Killing Me' is a special track to us," says Savoy. "We had the idea a while ago, and right then we knew we had something really cool. It's got a relaxed, grooving vibe, yet still packs a ton of energy as well.
