The group was scheduled to kick off the tour on April 2nd in Brisbane, Australia and play eight shows in the country as well as two stops in New Zealand and two concerts in Tokyo, Japan. The band released the following statement about the need to cancel the tour, "We are very sorry to have to cancel our upcoming performances through April 23. Patrick sustained a dislocated and broken shoulder in January that required surgery. "Working with the doctors, surgeons and physiotherapists since January, we had expected Patrick to be ready to return to touring in April. The recovery process and physical therapy has taken longer than anticipated and unfortunately Patrick is still unable to perform and needs additional time to heal. We thank all of our fans for their ongoing support and we look forward to getting back on the road as soon as possible." One stop of the now canceled dates of the Turn Blue World Tour included a performance at Bluesfest in Australia on April 3rd. Bluesfest Festival Director Peter Noble provided more details about the reason for the cancelation. Noble writes, "We feel sorry for The Black Keys fans all over the world who were hoping to see them at Bluesfest and other venues which they have now had to cancel due to drummer Patrick Carney's ongoing issues with his shoulder injury. "The injury occurred on January 3rd when Carney, who was on holiday on the Caribbean island of St Barts, went body surfing, and was slammed to the ground by a 'humongous' wave. Patrick's shoulder was both dislocated AND broken in the accident. "As a result, The Black Keys cancelled upcoming European dates, and announced they expected to resume touring in April when Patrick was expected to be fully recovered. "Patrick has been regularly attending a Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Centre in Nashville, and recovery seems to have been going to plan until a recent complication occurred after 10 weeks of treatment. Patrick has now developed Adhesive Capsulitis, known as Frozen Shoulder, an infection, which has both delayed and complicated the healing process, and as a result, his doctor has advised he cannot go on tour currently and play the drums. "Documents supplied to me state, Patrick requires further regular intensive treatment, and we, along with his fans I'm sure, are praying for his timely recovery." Read more here.

Grande's second album, "My Everything", continues to dominate the charts with four singles issued to date; the record currently sits at No. 20 in the US Billboard 200 album chart. Rodgers premiered the "I'll Be There" video, which features supermodel Karlie Kloss and was directed by fashion photographer duo, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, on Facebook on Friday. Rodgers explains why he picked the social media site for the premiere, "Since I started my blog after the cancer diagnosis, I've felt that Facebook users feel like friends coming over to your house for a visit. In the world of social media Facebook feels more like family and the story behind CHIC's record is deeply personal." The track comes from the group's new studio album "It's About Time," which will be released in June. Rodgers explained the album concept in a website posting, "Four years ago I was stricken with very aggressive cancer and I wasn't sure how much time I had left. I decided the album's concept would be about time and I'd feature as many people from the lifespan of Chic that I could on it." He elaborated even more on Facebook when he posted the premiere of the video. He wrote, "#WorldPremiere!! #IllBeThere is a moving concept for me about decisions we make in life. We've tried to capture all the nuances in the full length video and still keep it fun. Karlie Kloss connects the past and present. She sees the original group (who plays this track) on Soul Train. She, visualizes the past looking at old school vinyl - then gets dressed and goes out to a current party to meet up with Stephen Galloway and the current #CHIC lineup happens to be playing live. I'm very thankful to be debuting it exclusively w Music on Facebook to the world. Here it is. I hope you like it." Watch the video here.
