The musician, actor and YouTuber needed just a drum machine and an electronic keyboard to marry the songs in perfect harmony. This mix comes on the heels of Selena Gomez's video debut for "Hands to Myself," which dropped yesterday.
Their lyrics produce a kind of dialogue that Beliebers and Selena Gomez fans alike have already analyzed on social media: Are his lyrics about her? Are her lyrics about him? The world may never know. Watch Sivan's mash-up here.
Just in time for Christmas, the singer-songwriter announced that he will partner with toy manufacturer Bendon to make an unprecedented $10.5 million donation.
"Growing up in rural Georgia, I know that sometimes Christmas isn't a time of joy for some kids and our contribution might be all they receive this year so I really wanted our donation to matter," Gilbert said. "I'm honored the folks and Bendon understood why I wanted to work with them and Toys for Tots." Read more here.
Chesney had this to say, "When Kate McMahon with our tour promoter explained it to me. It seemed not only so simple, but the kind of thing the No Shoes Nation is all about. Give back to others, help where you can, live to the fullest and make a difference. I can't believe they've found 25 matches, but I couldn't be prouder for the fans who come out and live these songs with us."
He adds, "I learned through the Spread the Love Fund how small things can sometimes make a major difference. I know my fans will pitch in, will help people in need. This was something so hard to believe given how easy and simple it is. I'm thrilled to hear 25 matches have already been found. Maybe we should call them the No Shoes, All Heart Nation."
Get on the List campaign's director of events and artist relations Tim Bramlette had this to say, "It's really easy. We bring the pop-up tent and the Love Health Strength Mini Cooper - and they set us up in the parking lot where all the special stuff is. Our team comes down and we make ourselves available to give people information. They fill out a form, swab their cheek, and are only contacted if they're 100 percent a perfect match, which doesn't sound like too much, but the number of people on this planet?"

This led fans to wonder what was going on with the EDM superstar. This week, he took to his Tumblr blog to post an explanation--attributing the strange behavior to depression:
"I've been dealing with some depression issues that i don't need to go into detail with," wrote the musician. "Id consider myself far from emotionally stable, though, not unstable enough to know support when i see it." Read more here.
"Hi, I'm Lindon, also known as Saint West. I'd like to announce my official retirement from hip-hop," he said in a clip published by TMZ. He then offers "Congratulations Kanye and Kim, thank you for choosing such a beautiful name.
"Saint West, may God smile on you. I'll always be cheering for you. And try to avoid becoming a rapper." Kanye might not get Lindon's sportsmanlike message--He's asked not to be bothered with anything until his album is finished. Watch the clip here.
Luckily, we're here to update your Christmas playlist. Here are some new songs to spread holiday cheer beginning with Ariana Grande's 'Santa Tell Me": Ariana's original Christmas song is flirty, catchy and fun! Watch Ari and friends dance around in their ugly Christmas sweaters and animal onesies in the video! If you like 'Santa Tell Me" , then you'll want to check out Ari's brand new Christmas EP.
Sam Smith's 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas": Sam Smith's cover of the holiday classic is beautiful. The song simply features Smith's vocals over a piano, and it's absolutely stunning. We're not sure why this isn't being overplayed everywhere.
Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Last Christmas": Carly's version of 'Last Christmas" is cute, but we can't help but stand by Taylor Swift's traditional cover of the tune. If you're looking for more of an electronic sounding song, Carly's version is definitely for you.
Katy Perry's 'Everyday Is a Holiday": Katy's new Christmas song may have been recorded for an H&M commercial, but that doesn't mean that we don't love it! Please release a full version, Katy! Check out these songs and videos and read about even more tracks here.
Call it the "Fast and Furious" effect, but that has changed today, with the release of the first trailer for Star Trek Beyond, directed by Justin Lin (of the Fast and Furious franchise) which is soundtracked by the Beastie Boys' 1994 classic, "Sabotage."
This isn't the first time that song has surfaced in the world of Trek; in the 2009 franchise reboot, a young Captain Kirk was seen stealing his mother's boyfriend's vintage car, and when he put on the stereo, "Sabotage" was playing.
Apparently, that moment made a big impression on Kirk; in the next movie, 2013's Into Darkness, he's seen listening to a remix of "Body Movin'." The love goes both ways: the Beastie Boys have referenced Trek through the years as well, namely in their underrated classic "Ch-Check It Out," from 2004's To the Five Boroughs, which has the lyrics, "All you Trekkies and TV addicts" and "All you Klingons in your Grandma's house'" The video, meanwhile, sees the Beasties wearing old-school Trek uniforms and also beaming down to Brooklyn, transporter style.
On the same album, "The Brouhaha" has the lyrics: "Communicator check one two one two/This is Bones McCoy on a line to Sulu/Set the bull-- to warp factor one/Check your tricorder set your phaser to stun!" Read more here.
