Madonna is apparently getting into the groove in her apartment and her neighbors aren't too happy about it. AP reports that Karen George, of Manhattan, lives above Madonna in a building on Central Park. She said in a lawsuit filed Friday against the building's co-op board that the Material Girl is using her apartment as a rehearsal studio, forcing neighbors to endure "blaring music, stomping and shaking walls," for up to three hours each day. more Some 3,000 people lined the streets on Saturday for the funeral of Boyzone singer Stephen Gately, who died on the island of Majorca a week ago. more Hills star Stephanie Pratt was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence early Sunday outside a party in Hollywood. more The man accused of attacking Leona Lewis last week was apparently rejected by The X Factor, the UK TV talent show that Lewis won in 2006. The man is currently under psychiatric evaluation but his father told a British tabloid that the man had failed his try out for the show and apparently attacked Lewis out of jealousy. more Jamaican rapper Bounty Killer is in trouble with the police again. Rowe filed a lawsuit against Rebecca White in July following White's appearance on "Extra". According to AP, Rowe's attorneys made a filing last week seeking $490,000 in damages. Rowe is seeking a default judgment against White, with a hearing scheduled for next month. According to AP, "Rowe has some visitation rights with the two children under an August agreement with the singer's mother. No money is believed to have changed hands in the arrangement."

The concert is appropriately called Holiday Notes From Home and the free tickets are an early present to anyone who wishes to attend. The show will be taped live and features performances from Amy Grant, Take 6, a surprise performer and the Band of the Air Force Reserve with special guests the Air Force Strings. Members of the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserve, Arnold AFB, Tenn., service members from Fort Campbell, Ky., and the Tennessee Army & Air National Guard will be invited as special guests and will join with the participating artists to send heartfelt holiday greetings to our soldiers and their family members who are serving around the world. Holiday Notes From Home will air multiple times on the Armed Forces Radio and Television Network during the Christmas holidays.

To help launch the record he'll be playing some shows at CMJ including one at the Mercury Lounge at 9:00 pm on October 22nd, and an early set at Piano's upstairs for the Brooklyn Vegan day party. He'll be playing these shows as Flashy Python, with his good friends Matt Sutton, Peter Modavis, Brian Ashby and Jonas Oesterle, and will be playing songs from Mo Beauty, the Flashy Python record Skin and Bones.
