Police found a crack pipe and prescription pills in the Manhattan apartment, said a law enforcement official, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the investigation was ongoing. Paramedics had to break down the door before they found him, shirtless and wearing sweatpants, in his bed around 5:20 p.m. on Friday, the official said.

Amazon.com jumped the gun and announced a November 17th release date for the effort last week. The only problem is that Allen's record label had yet to announce the release. Allen himself made it official via twitter with this announcement: "Hey guys! The album is set to release Nov. 17."

AP reports that The fair had been planned for Sunday at a school yard in Queens New York's Jamaica section, blocks from a spot where the rapper was shot and wounded in 2000. The musician's manager, Chris Lighty, says the event is being postponed while organizers work out new arrangements with police.

Dr. Conrad Murray, a Las Vegas cardiologist who has been interviewed twice by police, has not been charged with any crime but he is the target of what police term a manslaughter investigation. The Los Angeles County coroner's office announced Friday in a highly anticipated ruling that Jackson's death was a homicide caused primarily by propofol and another sedative increasing the likelihood of criminal charges against Murray.
