Sheeran had worked with One Direction on three of four of their albums, but he explained in an interview with MTV why he wasn't involved in their upcoming release "Made In The A.M.".
"They've gotten to a point where they know how to write songs," he said. "Harry [Styles] was 16 when I first met himbut now he's 21 and has written with everyone in the world and learned how to write songs, so they don't really need as much help anymore. They can kind of do their own thing."
But that doesn't mean that Sheeran hasn't been busy working with outside artists. Bieber told Australia's Sunrise morning show that Sheeran wrote a track on his upcoming album, which is set to be released on the same day as One Directions.
Bieber made headlines earlier this week when he released an online video mocking One Direction over the fact that his yet-to-be-titled studio effort and One Direction's new album are both scheduled to be released on November 13th
As we previously reported, Bieber appears in the video (via ABC) with a scared facial expression and says, "The face you make when you come out with an album the same day as Justin Bieber." Watch it here.

He piled new music like "Buried In The Streets," on top of the Black Dollar mixtape, which he released early in September. Now the Bawse is giving two videos, back-to-back.
First up: "Geechi Liberace," a clip that falls in line with the Ross style. Slow motion, extreme close-up shots of statues and jewels, and sweeping shots of the rapper sitting in his mansion. Add to that, marble statues and eye candy, with plenty of cleavage on display. Mostly all in slow-motion.
Check out Rick Ross' video for "Geechi Liberace" here.

"A mysterious, time traveling medicine woman has a prophetic vision of an early civilization in trouble. The men have neglected the women and deprived them of love. By orders of their chief, the men of the tribe have taken away the women's hearts and voices. The women are powerless. The children are suffering. The medicine woman travels for many days to reach the primitive village.
"Upon her arrival, the medicine woman performs a miracle. She instantly restores the grace of the women of the tribe and gives them their voices back. The men of this early tribe are not pleased. With the men of the tribe's attention, the medicine woman and the women of the tribe begin a ceremony in which they tell the story of how they are taking their voices back.
"The chief is infuriated. The medicine woman leaves the now capable women to conduct a private ceremony for the chief. The chief is intrigued and frightened. What he thinks will be a sexual experience turns out to be something very different. After the ritual is performed, the medicine woman passes on her apocalyptic prophecy of how the world will end due to the lack of love throughout humanity. The chief experiences ego death. He sees that it starts with him." Watch the video here.
