Take A Cruise With Kiss
Rock band KISS is once again taking to the high seas this fall, offering their fans an unforgettable experience aboard Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Pearl. KISS Kruise II takes place October 31 through November 4 as the Norwegian Pearl sails from Miami to NCL's private island in the Bahamas, Great Stirrup Cay. KISS will play a live concert in the ship's main theater as well as perform a special "unmasked" acoustic show on the ship's pool deck. Each KISS member will lead their own on-board activity and there'll also be a Q&A session with the guys, a Halloween party, costume contests, theme nights and each guest will get an autographed photo of themselves with the band. Rocklahoma 2012
Headliners for this year's Rocklahoma event have been announced. Rob Zombie, Chickenfoot, Creed, Megadeth, Slash and Queensryche will rock the "Catch the Fever" Festival Grounds in Pryor, Oklahoma, about a 45-minute drive outside of Tulsa. Also slated to play are Chevelle, Jackyl, Theory of a Deadman, Hellyeah, Puddle of Mudd, P.O.D., Volbeat, the Darkness, Trivium, Cavo, Black Stone Cherry, Lillian Axe and dozens of others. The Memorial Day weekend blow-out takes place May 25-27 and various ticket packages are on sale now. Arizona's Rhythm On The Rails
The sightseeing train ride through central Arizona's Verde Canyon will be even more fun on Saturday, April 14 when the Verde Canyon Railroad presents Rhythm on the Rails 2012. Performing private concerts in each rail car during the five-hour adventure will be Brenn Hill, Dean Cook, Coventry Rhoads, Bob and Wendy, Jimmy Dufresne, the Nate Williams Band, Devon Bridgewater and Nuance and Chicks with Picks (Hannah Levos, Kenzie Keicher and Bobbi Kerr.) Acts will rotate through the cars so that guests will be able to hear every act. Known for showcasing the rugged and beautiful terrain along the Verde River, the Verde Canyon Railroad ride also presents a chance to view the eagles that nest along the river.
