Michael Angulia | 02-23-2020

Exodus guitarist Gary Holt says that he hopes that the band can hit the recording studio this summer and have a new studio album out to fan before the end of the year.

Holt has now turned his focus back to Exodus , after Slayer played the final show of their farewell tour last year. Gary spoke with Kaaos TV about the group's plans for the future.

He revealed, "We'll be in the studio hopefully this summer. We're staying home this summer, except for one show at the Dynamo festival. We're not doing a European summer festival tour or nothing, and we're just gonna work on the new record.

Holt then shared his hopes for the timeline that the record will be released. He said, "I hope to have it out this year, like late in the year. We'll see how the scheduling goes and all that." Watch the interview
