(hennemusic) Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley is streaming an animated video for "Mission To Mars", the third single from his latest album, "Spaceman."
With a clip animated by artist Christopher Fequiere, the song continues the guitarist's longtime interest in space and science fiction. "I've been a sci-fi fan since I was a kid, you know," Frehley tells the Houston Press, "and when I joined KISS we all had to come up with characters, so I invented The Spaceman.
" I've had a fascination with sci-fi and astronomy and space travel from a young age, so it all makes sense to me. I believe eventually were going to colonize Mars and go further."
"Mission To Mars" is the third track issued from the founding KISS member's eighth release, following "Bronx Boy" and "Rockin' With The Boys."
"Spaceman" features a guest appearance on bass by Gene Simmons on "Without You I'm Nothing" and "Your Wish Is My Command" - two songs Frehley co-wrote with his former KISS bandmate specifically for the record. Watch the video here.
