Sammy Hagar Announces Second Annual High Tide Festival

(hennemusic) Sammy Hagar has announced plans for his second annual High Tide Beach Party & Car Show. Set for September 28 and 29 on the shores of the Pacific Ocean in Huntington Beach, CA, the two-day event will see performances by Sammy Hagar & The Circle with special guest Richie Sambora, The Beach Boys, Vince Neil, Night Ranger, Blue Oyster Cult, Extreme, Steel Panther, Tony Lewis from The Outfield, Patty Smyth and Scandal, and more.

The Car Show will feature a collection of luxury, exotic, European, custom, classic, movie and hyper cars; among the vehicles on display will be Hagar's personal Ferrari BB512i from his "I Can't Drive 55" music video, Viciousstang - the twin-charged "Million Dollar Mustang," as well as one of the legendary "General Lee" 1969 Dodge Chargers used in the original filming of "The Dukes Of Hazzard" TV series.

The event will also present speccially curated food and drink offerings including a beachside outpost of Sammy's legendary Cabo Wabo Cantina: the Cabo Wabo grill will serve authentic handmade tacos, and bars will be located throughout the party.

Among the beach activities offered will be games, specialty photo ops, as well Polynesian, Tahitian and line dancing instruction at the Red Rocker Party Bar.

The weekend will begin with High Tide Beach Party Kick-off Party Sunset Cruise on Friday, September 27 hosted by Eddie Trunk onboard the Endless Dreams yacht for 200 guests, while a High Tide Hangover Brunch Cruise will be available on both event days.

"We knew we were on to something special when we started planning the High Tide Beach Party with Sammy Hagar last year," says event producer John Oakes of Freeze Management. "But we were blown away when it sold out in advance the first year. We learned a lot and this year we're coming back to make the party bigger and better, aimed at enhancing the attendees' experience." Read more here.
