Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes shared the good news with fans that he has fully recovered from the ruptured vocal cord that forced the band to cancel the final two shows of their recent U.S. tour.
Sykes took to social media late last week to reveal the exciting news. He tweeted, "Just been to the voice doctors my voice is fully healed woop woop see u all soon !"
Back in February the band pulled the plug on two shows in Phoenix and Las Vegas after he ruptured his vocal cord. He told fans at the time, "Hey everyone, I'm gutted to announce we have to cancel the remainder of our American tour. I've ruptured my right vocal chord, and I've been told if I don't rest it immediately, I'm in serious danger of doing permanent damage.
He followed up on Twitter with, "People forget the vocal cords are a muscle, a muscle that can be compromised by not just exertion but the elements/conditions etc... This is just something that happens sometimes... as much as it sucks!"
