Beatles Associates Tribute Geoff Emerick was a top 18 story of October 2018: The Beatles camp were rocked by the tragic news that the band's chief recording engineer Geoff Emerick, who helped them achieve some of their most historic sounds on record, died of a suspected heart attack this week at the age of 72.
